I saw CR with Weir and Jackie Greene for the acoustic trio thing and his vocals are still top notch…have not suffered a bit, I just d/led his new album with this band today and it is pretty cool stuff, not one song on the album is less than 7 minutes…very Workingman’s Dead/American Beauty sounding music, then on some of the songs he’ll throw in a clav or something to keep ya on yer toes
nonetheless, this is one of the coolest tours I’ve seen in a long time…pretty much everyone in the country will get the chance to check em out
