Clifford Ball

Since the DVD’s coming out here in a couple of months, I got to thinking just how SICK the Clifford Ball really was. My question is this: of both Friday and Saturday, what is your favorite part?? I know I think the most euphoric and energetic part is Arrival in Fluffhead. Such a peaceful, drama-free (Trey), happy and ever improving band was performing at the Clifford Ball. Phish are so damn clutch. Anyway, let’s hear everyone’s highlights, especially those of you that were there.

This is probably my favorite part… but it is so hard to choose.

3: Makisupa Policeman, Also Sprach Zarathustra-> Down With Disease, NICU, Life on Mars, Harry Hood

Is this a definite?? Is The Clifford Ball actually coming out for real, not just rumor?

I loved that festival, felt like I truly had an awakening that weekend. My wife too, both of us just really experienced a wonderful time at Clifford Ball. The music doesn’t stand out like The Great Went, which I’m really really into, but maybe I just haven’t listened to Clifford enough. I’ve probably heard it three times or something since I got the tapes.

Seeing what at the time was the greatest Harry i had ever heard and then being mind blown by FIREWORKS! Completely unexpected at an already euphoric moment.

who’s got my overflowing port-o-potty?!?!??!!?

okay, only complaint of the festy, made up for by melting me face and brain

Yeah, is this really coming out ophishially? I like Will’s segment… NICE jamming!

ive always thought this split open and melt was underrated. the ending is insano

^ i agree i love the soam

^I third that

Are there really DVDs coming out? I haven’t heard anything about this. I hope so…

The Fluffhead is so high energy and pure and awesome

i was scared it was gonna be somewhat like the dvd of it where u saw alot of music but alot of talking to and not whole songs…this box set is gonna be amazing it has both nights all full sets plus other nifty things to watch

^^and yes the fluffhead is very very good

The second set of 8/17 is stellar. The Slave in particular is top notch

It’s on Dry Goods pre-order now, along with a chance to win Hampton tickets. I believe it’s $79 just for the set, with other package deals that include CB shirt tie-ins.

Actually, it’s a DVD set, not CDs.

I’m starting to seriously consider just purchasing this thing instead of tickets. I know I won’t be dropping hundreds of dollars on Phish at a time, and for my money, this kind of a purchase is so much more satisfying.

I say that knowing I’d be paying for two to three tickets, maybe bringing my teen, and that I’ve seen Phish enough times to not be desperate to see 'em.
