Compare the Victor Disc to the Siket Disc

I wanted to give the Victor Disc a spot on Album Discussion, and if I’m the only person that listens to this album, then oh well. I wanted to see what people thought were the differences between Siket and Victor for one thing. So, discuss!

I personally thought the Victor Disc was much more listenable than the Siket Disc, mainly because the Siket Disc is almost pure production weirdness. Victor Disc involved more actual jamming, whereas Siket was more about weird noises and experimentation. What do you think?

::sigh:: Oh well. I didn’t realize the Siket Disc was officially released, but now that I look it up, apparently it was. Anyway, I tried to delete this forum, but I don’t have the necessary permission. I sent Ian a PM about it.

i think the Victor Disc deserves it’s own thread. that being said, i still need to hear it. i love the Siket Disc though, precicely FOR it’s production weirdness and weird noises/experimentation. that’s what studios are for. Phish can do almost anything live, on the spot. for what they can’t do, studio trickery can.

Victor disc is more melodic and covers a wider range of material and is better in my opinion.
