what have been your experiences with cops or security at camden?
last year they were confiscating stuff during the show. anyone else have a similar experience? how about in the lot?
Camden usually isn’t too harsh. I’ve seen over 30 shows there and have never had trouble with cops or security. As in most places they look for people selling things. As long as your not underage drinking or smoking ganja in the middle of the lot you should have no problem. They have upped the upped the N02 security . As i stated as long as your not out of control, they will look for bigger fish to fry.
04 there were cops walking through the lawn,…pretty weird & a buzzkill.

Camden last year seemed to be a shit-show so yeah…just don’t be stupid. Actually last year the cop I parked next to said they’re as concerned with the locals ‘influencing’ the concert-goers. By locals I assume he meant crack dealers.
hey, be nice…cops need weed to smoke too. What a perfect opportunity, to take drugs from Phish fans, who wont attack you, wont fight you, will oblige you. Take our drugs cops!!! Take them!!! Four seemed like overkill 
I think this guy needs a filter between his brain and fingers. That post just seems to be scrambled thoughts.
After a pretty heavy gas night on the first night, the cops kept control of the gas. I saw two tanks get busted right in front of my tailgate spot before they even came out. I also saw a lady get clubbed really hard by the dumpsters, but her head cracked open too 
. I actually got hassled by cops because while they were busting the tanks, my over 21 friend got thrown in the back of a wagon for reaching int he trunk to get a beer and the cops cited it as “public intoxication”. When they did this I started yelling “why the fuck are we treated like animals”. They then procedded to throw me to the ground, scream fuck every other word, and threw me on the curb. Then alpha dick, the head of Camden police started screaming at me in im a tough guy or some stupid shit, but I couldn’t hear it over all the obsenities he was yelling. I was let go, and it put the slightest damper on my night 
^I guess I am lucky, I have never been really hassled like that. I have only done an east coast leg once in my fifteen years of seeing Phish…seems like the cops are pretty rough out there. Be careful people! 
That’s probably because you don’t yell at cops. That is just a terrible idea.
Yeah yelling at a stressed police chief while hes dealing with around 15k hippies isn’t the best idea. Not that he was right in what he did but that would be a stressful time to be the chief of police if you hear me.
