So i just made a Coventry skin
its my first attempt at making a skin and i think it came out okay so check it out.

I agree on the header pic, very nice. I think the background could be made more transparent. Maybe the darkest purple could be made lighter too.
teh purple disappears, but who needs to know when spooks posts anyway?
i was trying to keep up with the color scheme of the ticket stub.

i’m not sure if i’d like it to be that direct. The way that it is now you could just look past it signifying Coventry if you don’t want to think about it or you could let it trigger some flashbacks.

That’s it. I like this new skin so much, that I’m going to do the unspeakable. I’m gonna freakin’ download Coventry and listen to the whole thing. I’m gonna get a little wasted and just reflect on the past, meditate on acceptance, and live in that moment. Now’s your chance to try and stop me; I’ve never heard Coventry or Vegas '04.
Then I’m gonna get back to my little 1980s Phish compilation project, putting my sorrows behind me and moving steadily towards the back half of life.
there was actually some ragin’ jams at Coventry.
a lot of the composed parts on the more complicated songs (YEM, Stash, Guyute) were flubbed but the jams and the energy was all there.

“Gotta Jibboo” and “Drowned” come immediately to mind in terms of Coventry highlights. Actually, to me, the “Jibboo” jam may be my favorite (if forced to pick at gunpoint) jam from Coventry.
as far as rockin’ jams go at Coventry of course those are good calls, Neil. But my face was properly melted by the Antelope, the Reba, the Bag, the Twist > Wedge and the jam that came out of YEM (not the YEM itself but the jam, post trampoline) among others of course.
It has some good jams, just not the Ghost > Melt, despite what anyone says that jam is shit. The skin, however, is my favorite, and it’s all I’ve used since it was introduced. Kudos Jaw.
somebody should make some skins to represent other festivals.
Coventry was the only one i was at though so i’m afraid i’m out of that running. I could do one for the Miami NYE run though but i don’t know.
were any of the mods at any festivals that wasn’t Coventry?
