I don’t think you need to have gone to the festival to make a skin for it…i’m just out of the running 'cause I wouldn’t have the first clue how to make a skin.
I’ve used the Coventry skin ever since its inception also. And I still love it.
This is my favorite skin after Junta I think, and Junta only wins because it’s practical. But I’m still using Coventry, probably for a while.
I downloaded 8/14/04 and half-listened to it last night … my first impression is: “This is Coventry??” I haven’t heard anything so ear-shatteringly awful to merit these shows’ reputation, but … I guess I’m gonna hear it if I keep listening!
I was glad to hear that some of it was really listenable. I imagined a three hour train wreck from the way people talk about it.
^8.14.04 set 2 is arguably the sloppiest set of Phish ever. That shit is painful.
However, Walls of the Cave–>Jim–>Jibboo to open the show is wicked. And the Drowned jam is kinda cool.
Ah. Yeah, I’m on set I still, and it sounds typical post-hiatus so far. Maybe I should turn back before it’s too late.
