Or Prince, I guess.
I don’t know anything anymore.

That “Mystery Ship” song rulz!
OMG they’re playing that Marco Esquandolas song!
^I thought that was ‘Run’ by the Pink Floyd off the Wall. No?
you mean San Francisco? DUH
Oh my god guys give me a break. I don’t have that album, nor do I own any talking heads. I like the talking heads somewhat, but i never got big into them. sorry. fuck.
i do like the rare chance of being able to hear phish cover them. but shit, i can’t help that i’m not a huge talking heads fan. it’s just one of those things. I’ve memorized way too many names of artists, songs, albums, and years to use up any more brain-space on artists I’m barely fond of.
cranks Sum41
LOL. Check out more Heads Justin. You’ll like them.
And listen to the 11.2.96, Cypress, and 7.29.03 versions of CROSSEYED AND PAINLESS.
You won’t forget the name then.
I mean I’ve listened a bunch. A bunch of my friends like them a lot. I just don’t. Their music is good, I just don’t dig their sound at all really. That’s why I like hearing Phish cover them. I have heard the '03 version, which IS really good. Is that the same show with brother and possibly a harpua? I think Twist is also on there maybe.
7-29-03 didn’t have a “Twist.” I think you’re thinking of the filler from the CD release.
But yeah, that’s my favorite “CExP.”
Do yerselves a favor and listen to 11/2/96.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, percussion, BG
I Didn’t Know is a cover?
I saw all 3 versions above and Cypress just edges out West Palm! Don’t shoot me it’s just my opinion!
Yeah, b/c it’s the closest one to 1999.
^ perhaps. But i just love the spacey jam in the middle and the way they come back to it and end it properly! Trust me i loved every version i saw and did not ever take this tune for granted. I haven’t heard it in awhile but nobody ever mentions the one from Deer Creek 04. Was it that unmemorable? Or is it just washed away in the flood of 04 doody!
Nah, it wasn’t unmemorable. It was pretty good and contained a high-energy jam. It actually segued out of “Halley’s Comet” quite nicely. The intro/lyric part is fat and Mike is really prominent. Moreso than the '03 version IMO.
^ for some reason everything after Halley’s that night is a blur to me. I think iv’e listened to the disks once or twice. Gonna have to pull em out!
Brett with the sendspace skills!
I just jacked them from somewhere else. You think im that quick with the computer box thingy?
Way to go!
