thank you icculus. i know montana is not an actual song, but i do in fact love the bass jam of alo. and i think phish could really make somehting out of shine. i used to REALLY not like this song. but it is rapodly growing on me. i like putting interesting times in my sets. like my 20 minute roggae last time…see where im goin?

*Aborted halfway through. “We didn’t want to play that one anyway,” Trey says, knocking his microphone over. ** Trey can’t remember the lyrics and cuts the song off. *** Band completely falls apart during ascent into “Boy, Man, God It” section, leading them to play acerbic noise to let off some steam. **** With long, excessive soloing by Trey and Page. Fishman tries to stop the song repeatedly. # Jam is exceedingly short. No Whistling. ## Ling pause after song as Trey drops his acoustic guitar, breaking it, and moves to his electric. ### Trey says “Mike Says Yes” even though the audience was not chanting for the song. Aborted. #### Who cover; last played 10/31/95. Trey can barely keep up with the lyrics. ^ Narration was about Jimmy going to see a concert by his favorite band and being so disappointed that he threw beer at his hero and spray painted profane graffiti on the theater he saw them at. Trey says that Harpua bites out Jimmy’s throat for his actions, and that afterward the band played better than ever the rest of their tour.

The funny thing is that it’s actually harder to make a bad Phish show than just an average or amazing one and still have it be somewhat realistic. I actually had to look through my shows for songs I wouldn’t want to hear, or at least songs I wouldn’t want in a row.
