Create your own setlist! Vers. 2

Man that shit took me like a half hour to write.

how about halloween?

Well since other people were doing Halloween, I figured I would do a two-night run up to Halloween rather than the day itself.

p.s. sometime this summer I’m going to make a list of all the Phish songs from the Phish Companion so when we go to make setlists we can just look on there. I’m going to try to organize them into categories like “Rarities”, “Covers”, and so on.

^
nerd!

haha…you know secretly you’re kind of excited about that list, g2k…

but yeah, you are a nerd, greg

i look forward to reading those sets when i won’t get fired for staring at my screen for a half hour

i know - i is, i is.

i always meant to take a notbook and pen and write down songs, feelings, etc. but always forgot! its something i really wish i would have done.

^ never too late to start

yeah man…i wish i did more of that too…i did write down every song from summer 04 (my only full tour)…i still cherish that notebook…

i’ve started jotting down notes while listening to recordnings sometimes too now…especially for my ‘signature trey riff’ thread…

This show was the first Phish concert played since August 15, 2004. It was billed as a show with “Trey and his band.” When showtime arrived, the lights grew dim, and a band took the stage. The show began, and Phish was revealed. Brown Sugar featured Dave Grippo on saxophone. Sugar Magnolia through Sunshine Daydream featured Bob Weir on guitar, vocals, and background vocals. During the tramps section of YEM, Carlos Santana appeared onstage on a third trampoline set up next to Trey and sat in for the rest of the set. Sunshine Daydream emerged from an extended vocal jam out of YEM. Layla featured Warren Haynes on second guitar. Suzy Greenberg featured Les Claypool on bass. Heartbreaker through Tweezer Reprise, which clocked in combined at nearly an hour, saw Claypool, Santana, Haynes, and Weir rejoin the band for the rest of the show. Tweezer Reprise contained Crossroads teases.
