These guys are just a bit egotistical.
And that they even speak with Pink Floyd in the same sentence as themselves is a joke.
For one, Death Cab IS pretty pathetic…but I KIND of agree with them. No offense, but I don’t listen to Dark Side for the amazing lyrics…I listen to it for the music, mostly the badass guitar and sweet synthesizers to create all those effects. While Waters certainly has the right to do the songs…they’re right…it IS like Ringo doing Sgt. Pepper.
Not to mention, Roger trying to make the band into a more lyric-heavy theatrical band while going away from the great musical side that made them great and nearly broke up the band entirely didn’t help. Give me the Gilmour lineup from the last two tours anyday.
