Ok, i need help. I used to download shows all the time from etree but cant remember how the hell to do it anymore. I know i can use winzip to unzip the files but what converter do i need to convert the files to mp3 bc im not going to download another player. Thanks for the help

But you don’t need winzip at all, you need a torrent client like uTorrent.
you need a bit torrent
and a file decoder/decompressor for shn. and flac fronted files
which type of machine are you using?
windows or mac

but i know that etree.org has a bunch of good stuff for windows machines

you will need the bit torrent and a thing that decompresses the files from shn./flac to wav. files
you may need to get 2 different programs
some decompress both shn. and flac

I use BitTorrent to download the shows.
Then I use Trader’s Little Helper to convert the lossless files. Just one program to decode all the different file types. I don’t know why I wasn’t using just this long ago.
Those are both easy and quick to download and install.
We can download new Phish shows in slightly over one week. Did I just say that? Holy shit.
