Because Wolfman’s can/did kick ass, but Ghost was ALWAYS money. Yes, even 10/31/98.
I’ll stand by Wolfman’s.
I’ll also stand by my previous statement that everything great that came from Ghost came after the song, during a one chord jam that Phish were capable of playing at the end of any song.
I love them both equally, so I had to go with Wolfman’s as it is one of the first Phish songs I loved and always wanted to show everyone in order to kind of hope they would get how great phish is. I still throw on the SS&P Wolfman’s everytime someone’s over and they want to know what Phish sounds like. You and I know there are many Ghosts that exemplify Phish’s sound just as much, but it’s just not as strong of a song as Wolfmans.

I’m surprised this is so lopsided…I mean, there have been some very, very sick jams from Wolfman’s (11.19.97 comes to mind), but Ghost is definitely king.
