Election 08

Fuck y’all. I’m voting for this guy.

This will be the last thing I will post in this thread. I love seeing your country torn apart though. Something about it just makes me feel good inside.

nice last post there GR. nice.

have fun writing stuff in your ballot. we’ll be busy winning. hope you had a nice eight years. don’t forget to close the door on the way out.

inferiority complex???

zooter!

someone should write in ‘bong hits’ on their ballot just because

winning? who’s winning?

W is a war criminal and should be going to jail, doesn’t Obama and Mclame know this?

If Obama believes W is a war criminal and has eroded our freedoms why believe the W administration on:

FISA
BAILOUT
FUNDING FOR WAR
NO IMPEACHMENT?

Why is Obama NOT interested in going after this administration? WHY?

WE KNOW WHY MCCCAIN won’t go after him, but Obama is supposed to be different.

WTF?

that’s how he has you fooled. Obama IS MORE OF THE SAME! The rhetoric is designed to make you swoon, and convince you he represents a change which is what you think will make you happy, because you ain’t happy now! McCain does the same thing to the other half of our polarized thinking.

This is like a superbowl where eveyone is forced to choose up sides and then get artificially emotionated for one team, one way of thinking, or the other.

And in the meatime, from their end, they’re just playing poker, bluffing their way through the superbowl of lies. Aint either one of them gonna change much. The system rules, not the players. Washington politics is the system, and no one would have bet on Obama if they weren’t sure they were going to capitalize on him within THE SAME SYSTEM OF BUYING FAVORS FOR A CHANCE AT INFLUENCING THE GOVERNMENT TAX COFFERS.

And Obama is much more bought into that system than McCain is. He’s got ‘o’ so much money, from ‘o’ so many interest groups and individuals to repay.

And as far as your criteria go, if there’s one thing to say for Obama is that he’s definitely smarter than McCain, and has a great management system and funding sources that are very strong and very deep. And that’s the only reason that I would vote for him. All the rest of what he says is, like McCain’s, meaningless.

When you finally get the ball, you need to shut up, and do the zigzag necessary to keep the ball for 8 years. You don’t do that by fighting a war, or impeaching a past president, because his game is generally not any dirtier than yours.

well, I took part in some Broward County early voting yesterday.

Now, i can just sit back and watch the world burn.

it’s amazing that people are convinced of that. our presidential elections are horrible experiences for this country. the campaigns terrorize us, and THAT has more to do with the stock market uncertainty more than anything lately.

As soon as the next worm is elected, within a year or more, the stock levels will be right back where they were…and then bonds will go down. The market has become an emotional barometer for the level of fear in this country, or maybe it always was. When you’re afraid, or at least more doubtful of the future, you start drawing back in, you don’t spend, you cash out, and become more conservative in your investments. It’s just a typical bear market, with a major spike because of the election.

If Obama wins, he will go into Bill Clinton mode, and not really keep any of his promises, but will try to get everyone relaxed and refocused on working harder, while he works to pay back his contributors by snatching just a little more of what we earn. McCain will try to do the same, but he’ll have a Democratic Congress to resist him. That’s one of the Prime reasons I would vote against Obama.

^Very well stated… Nice work!

I’m saving my vote for the 2118 Mars Election.

NO FONE. I dislike MCCAIN AND OBAMA. I’m not fooled, I’m playing devils advocate here

nice work explaining to the Obamaphiles though.

so, you are saying that in today’s world, if you are on the board of directors of a billion dollar corporation, you would choose McCain over Obama to run your company? I find that interesting being that McCain doesn’t even know how to turn a computer on. He doesn’t even know what ‘google’ is, or how to use it. He still rides to the capitol in a horse and carriage for crying out loud. This guy is so behind the times! Not to mention that you’re elderly CEO’s 1st MAJOR decision is to choose some ditzy chick that can’t name any newspapers, and thinks the VP is in charge of the Senate!!! -to be his number 1 assistant??? -lmao!! You want some guy, who is so behind the times, who still stubbornly backs economic, domestic and foreign policies that have FAILED!! (and he still supports them!) to run your company? A guy who brings his resume to you that says he supports the policies and decisions of the guy you fired that he is replacing? Are you for real? -a guy who can’t even find the OKP forum on the internet if his life depended on it…you want THAT guy running your multi-billion dollar company??? you sure about that?

First of all, McCain can’t use a computer because he can’t lift his arms up high enough to use a keyboard, due to injuries he recieved in Vietnam, so I don’t think its fair to criticize him for not using a computer. Also, Killer Rob, the constitution clearly states that the VP is the president of the Senate.

Second of all, how anybody can support Obama is beyond me. Why would you vote for someone who:

-Has an incredibly thin resume for someone seeking such a high office.
-Has never held an executive position.
-Has stated that supports redistribution of wealth, and has a tax plan that does this.
-Has been associated with radical African Americans, communists, and many others who express anger towards the U.S.
-Won’t present his his birth certificate to prove he was born in Hawaii, even though his own grandmother said she was present his birth in Kenya.

oh please, lol @ not being able to lift his arms high enough to use a keyboard? do you really buy into that nonsense? He’s an old man that’s stuck back in the 50’s. He doesn’t know shit about the internet(self-admittingly), and that has nothing to do with using a keyboard(which is a lame bullshit sympathy excuse) And the VP casts a ‘deciding’ vote if the Senate is deadlocked on an issue, other than that she has jack shit for control of the Senate, so please explain how that constitutes her job as VP being in charge of the Senate ala day-to-day operations?

-but you go on and vote for Grandpa to be your CEO of this country. You go on and keep sending your and my hard earned money to Iraq @ the tune of 10 billion per month…for the next HUNDRED years!! Have we learned nothing from Vietnam?? It certainly appears that we haven’t! Luckily McCain is going to lose handily so we won’t have to put up Grandpa and his insane ideas along with his ditzy, hockey mom VP nominee

yeah, he can’t lift his hand to type on a keyboard, but yet he can go walking around at a town hall meeting, holding up a microphone, talking with his hands in the air, writing shit down on paper…but yet he can’t use a keyboard…so thus, he doesn’t know anything about the internet…

…bwahahahaahaha!

sure thing Gramps

Wow KR…Someone’s been drinking the kool-aid that every major news outlet is feeding you. Watch much NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, read any major newspaper, or most internet sites much? It sounded like you were feeding us a line straight from the desk of NBC news. Everyone is so in the tank for Obama it’s not even funny.

You are more than welcome to share your views, but fone respectfully stated his views (which I may add he is allowed to have seeing as how we live in the United States) so maybe you should go about it respectfully. You have your opinion we have ours. If your trying to persuade our vote it won’t work. That seems to be a big tactic of Obama supporters. I just want to reiterate that I have no problem with you supporting Obama just don’t offensively slander someone because they don’t have your same opinion.

yo homeboy, check my 1st post on page one where I said I don’t want to tell anybody how to vote. Like you try and put it, I didn’t disrespect him in any way. Please point to the part in my post where I disrespected him? He just stated that it “wasn’t hard for him to decide”, and that it was pretty much a “no-brainer” who he’d pick if he were selecting a CEO for his company. I just had to disagree with that, and stated why selecting McCain as CEO might not be the best choice afterall. So if I ‘slandered’ anybody as you like to put it, it was John McCain himself. WTF are you guys getting all mad for anyway? McCain supporters taking stuff all personally…it’s just politics, and jokes, relax. Next thing you know one of you McCain supporters is gonna go out and say you were physically attacked by a Obama supporter or something…oh wait
