Fall TV!! What Are you Watching?

There is a new show on Fox called Raising Hope I discovered I find to be very funny.

It’s true. This show is quite hilarious. Doojette has been watching it on Hulu and I’ve gotten sucked in a couple times. :shifty:

Concise quoting. Dexter is my favorite show on TV. Battlestar Gallactica is probably my favorite show ever. I strongly recommend that everyone check that show out if you even remotely like sci-fi or hot actresses. Grace Park is my future mistress.

And Ice Road Truckers is a fantastic show! I’m also surprised that only one person mentioned 30 Rock.

Anyone gonna check out the new series on AMC “The Walking Dead”?

Looks like an awesome Zombie show.
The graphic novel was great so I can’t wait for this to start 10/31.

I’ve been tuning into Boardwalk in hopes that it can somehow fill the Sopranos void left deep within my soul. Not bad so far. Eastbound and Down has been really good too, hilarious show.

Kenny F’N Powers!

It being October and Halloween and all, I was just thinking about this the other day. I wondered, how come there are all these crime shows, dramas, comedies etc. but no tv shows based on the horror genre? I used to luv me some Tales from the Crypt & Tales from the Darkside. Hell, I even watched Freedy’s Nightmares and Friday the 13th the Series. I wondered why no network taps into a weekly horror show? It’s something different from all the other SoS.

I’ll have to check this new show out. Cool how it preimieres on halloween night.

It’s Always Sunny, South Park, and Eastbound and Down are the only shows I have to catch every week.

i don’t get to watch too much tv because of my schedule but these are the ones i DVR.

What is up with this Kenny Powers shit? Who the fuck is he and why is everyone dressing up like him and talking about him all the time? I guess it’s probably just yet another TV show that I never have and never will watch, but it’s really starting to bother me. I heard someone say something like, “Kenny Powers and Barack Obama are the two biggest names in showbusiness”. That’s some fucked up shit, because it’s true.

^ Only the funniest TV personality today!

Pretty much every quote out of his mouth is priceless.

And then I went mother fuckin’ jet skiing.

I just learned of Kenny Powers. Haven’t gotten to see an episode yet, but season 1 is in the queue.

Anyone know when Curb is supposed to be starting up? Isn’t it usually around October or something?

Not sure about Curb, but speaking of premium channels, I heard that the new and final season of Weeds is actually really fucking good. That’s what a friend told me, anyway. I really loved that show for the first two seasons, and then it started getting weird and pretty much jumped the shark. But I still watched it, and I have seen every episode up until this new season. I don’t have Showtime or anything like that here, so I’m gonna have to wait for the season to end and just get the whole thing and watch it in one sitting like I did with the others. Nobody say anything about what happens if you’ve seen it though! That would not be cool.

The Walking Dead was and is going to be fucking amazing. The first ep was badass right away so I’m sure this series will be fantastic and I’ll be watching! I also got to catch my first episode of Boardwalk Empire, it was this last weekend’s ep so I was lost butt I’m hooked and need to watch all teh episodes I missed… sucks I don’t have hbo.

I started watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia about two weeks ago, and now I have one episode left in Season 5. I’m glad I finally crawled out from under that rock. It is probably the funniest show on TV right now. I can’t wait to get all caught up.

I started watching Sunny when the most recent season started and boy am I happy I did. I haven’t caught up with the other episodes, but I’m loving this season.

I haven’t watched Curb since August, and my dad has the DVDs at home. I miss Larry’s uncomfortable antics.

I saw parts of Walking Dead. One scene that sticks out in my memory is when the father was sniping zombies as they approached his house, where he and his kid were hiding. That was emotional.

That was pretty deep. Calling out all the dead so he could snipe his wife. But then couldn’t do it in the end. Just heart-breaking. Although I do find it pretty awsome that the cop knew to give him the sniper rifle so he could “take care” of his wife from a distance, and not have to be up close to put a bullet in her head. Tried to make it easier for him, but he still couldn’t do it.
Yeah, I think this is the one show that I will be watching for some time to come.

Overall, not a great season of Sunny in Philly so far… but the last episode with the drunken Halloween party was one of my favorites ever.

Dee makes a great ostrich!

Anyone seen the last few episodes of South Park?. They’ve got this series with BP drilling into the gulf and tapping into a parallel dimension and releasing the dark Lord Ctullu. Pretty ridiculous and yet hilarious.
