see this is one of my doubts
if no one even cares about the draft and is willing to let a computer pick it…how much can they actually care? Isn’t that completely luck?
I guess trades are involved and all that.
I’ve done the computer route…and I prefer to pick my own squads…I’ll be there. You also have to take into account that certain matchups are more favorable and whatnot when setting your lineup for the week. Sure there is luck involved, but there it takes alot more skill in my opinion to win the league. You have to avoid injuries, watch the waiver wires, etc…etc.
Gamecat I never responded to your concerns on the 2 QB matter. You don’ t necessarily have to draft 3 QB’s. Sure on your guys Bye Week you’ll have to pick one up, which sucks, but I like the element it adds to it. We’ll essentially be monitoring every QB in the league, which me being a complete dork when it comes to sports looks forward to. And Don’t worry teams like KC will help make shitty QB’s look decent. Too bad Brodie Croyle doesn’t have this luxury.

What the Hell…I’m having trouble getting on…I don’t understand
I try to enter the draft room and it says that it’s still loading…I tested the system and all that stuff, but I still can’t access the draft room…

Just wanted to let everyone know that since we have 10 teams I increased the amount of teams to make the playoffs to 6. That gives the first 2 seeds a bye and the playoffs will start in Week 15 with the Championship being the final week of the season (Week 17). This will also keep more teams in it and interested throughout the season. Good luck to All.
Fuck beans I missed the draft. I was out of town but I initially was planning on being back for it. Just didn’t happen, and couldn’t get to a computer.
Still haven’t seen my team yet…I’m scared to look.

Might throw out a few trades to get the players I had my sights on, though.

Well I wasn’t here and the computer did my draft it looks like and my team isn’t bad even if my RBs suck. Not too sure about the 2-QBs thing. You say there’s 32 starting QBs for 10 teams yet I got a backup (Leinart) as my 3rd QB and there’s nothing but backups on the free agency. Last year I picked up Warner in Week 2 in hopes that Leinart would be benched…now I’m doing thr reverse this year? Ug…
I do like the 6 points for TDs…that seems about right. I also like the 10 yards for a point thing since that way your RB/WR can still get rewarded if he has like a 90-yard game but doesn’t get in the endzone. Fractional points are a lil weird to me but whatever.

I felt for sure that I’d be able to get Westbrook with the second pick, and you went and took him right out of my hands. But LT is good with me too.
Well the fractional points basically eliminate ties. I hate ties.
As far as the QB situation. I noticed that Jamarcus Russell, Kyle Orton, and Joe Flacco are all available on the free agent market. Not exactly top QB’s, but they are starters. As the year progresses I’m sure QB’s will be dropped. Why carry 3 QB’s after the bye week and such unless you have trade bait? And there are always injuries and whatnot. I personally have never done the 2 QB route either, but I thought it would make things interesting and will see how it goes.

So someone is going to have to explain this to me better…you only start a certain amount of players each week right? I’m guessing its like 1 QB, 2 RBs, and 3 WRs? I’m guessing I choose one kicker and one defense to start each week, right? What does the “BN” designation for my last five players mean?
I see that you have to have determined if a certain player is going to start by about 2 hours before game time. So if I start Plaxico Burress on Thursday, that takes away one of my receivers for the Sunday and Monday games?
