This was my first Phish song, and it really got me into the band. I checked this out and then borrowed Junta. Then I just got hooked completley. And now I am here. I recommend this song if you want to get somebody into phish, it worked for me.

I honestly think the best version of Farmhouse is the debut on Conan O’Brien from 97. I have it as a filler somewhere.

I really love the FarmAid '98 version…you wanna talk about perfect placement…that was it. Also 12/15/99 is no slouch.

Tis an awesome song, one of the ones that got me into phish, along with wilson and chalkdust torture, that persuaded me to buy a live one and get me “hooked” on Phish.

Awesome song and CD, I have the artwork for life. The extended jam of this tune at times is wicked and fun, I like the chorus and feel upity when it is played…

Saw the debut on Conan on YouTube. Niiiiiice. This song will always make me think of summertime in the country, and drinking at night with my windows open and a breeze coming in.

I just think of watching a sunset with a lady. you know. romantic-like, on a farm, in peace.

I simply adore this tune, and it almost brings me to tears just with the imagery and the pure love that seeps from the song.

I used to tolerate this song and maybe even liked it a bit, especially early.

But god I just flat out hate it now. Listening to it live in almost painful.

Live, it is a weak choice.
