That second set is hot for sure… the second half of that tour is amazing!! particularly Polaris>Alpine>Creek>Creek in four days, man oh man. I love '99. Most complete year in my opinion, even though '97 is my favorite. Three awesome American tours, capped off my what is in my opinion the best month in their history. The final three shows of 1999 are all TOP NOTCH, in the sense of top 20 or 25 material, except for the last one…
ive got to go with 8/13/96. live phish 12 was the first full phish concert i ever listened to i think…that divided sky opener is still probably one of my favorites
I agree with Will on this one. Although 7-11-00 was an incredibly fun show, this one stands above.
As said above, many great ones to choose from, but I’ll take 7-25-99 for the win.
I voted for the 7.11.00. Which I think is a wise choice, but just to give PH an honorable mention, the first two nights of the 03 Deer Creek run were both very strong efforts, and amazing shows to attend.

^ While I was there, I really enjoyed the first night. But it truly is the weakest of the three after listening back years later. Personally, I like the third night the best.
^^ Yeah night three was the one I had to go back and listen to to really appreciate it as well. I must have been really tired at that show, as I had been on tour since Bonner Springs and this was my last show for the run, because it is an awesome show. Like you said, I enjoyed night one just being there, and the first set was huge, and night two had some great improv and an incredibly rare (2 times PH?) Lizards taboot. Third night was the sleeper…
