I saw Juno on Christmas just before we hit the Chinese restaurant.

prob a few others, but those are the three i liked the most, into the wild and there will be blood batteling it out for the numero uno slot
TRANSFORMERS hands down best movie i saw,i was fuckin grinning ear to ear the whole movie ;D
::smacks sarcasm meter::
Is this thing working? That last post reeks of sarcasm, but I think it’s serious.
I didn’t see many movies this year (or many that were memorable at least). I’d have to go with Superbad as my favorite. I laughed initially and again upon re-viewing, a keeper for sure.
Eastern Promises, Fracture, Beowulf 3D…although probably wouldn’t think it was that good if it wasn’t 3D.
Doesn’t “No Country” have this totally inane ending that almost kills the movie? I have a number of friends that say the movie is awesome except the last 20 minutes. I’ll probably still rent it since I like the Coens but this seems alarming to me…

well it based on the book so its not like theyre just doing it for the hell of it
I liked Potter 5, Pirates 3, Knocked Up, 300, Apocalypto and others… like… Pam does Karl in the backseat… ::grumbles:: Golden Compass was kind of a flop but entertaining so I’ll give it an honorable mention.
Oh and I liked Transformers too.
Into the Wild definitely gets my number 1. The Simpsons movie was great, as was the Futurama movie. Superbad was the funneist. Die Hard 4 was the hardcorest.
ooh, 300. forgot about that one. top 5.
was Pan’s Labrynth an 07 release? if so, top 5.
there’s at least 6 movies in my top 5.
Charlie Wilson’s War in addition to some of the ones already posted here.
What are the odds Cloverfield has a bigger opening weekend than I Am Legend?
Anyone?
I’ll give 3:2.
oh i think it will. all that sneaky advertising.
Yeah, JJ Abram’s name on it will get all the geek crowds to it. Of course, it’s basically just a Godzilla flick with bad camera work.

Does anyone know exactly what the hell is destroying NYC in that movie? Monster? Alien? Robot?

ha ha, that’s funny.
seriously though, out of pure curiosity, why does everyone always bust on Kang? i’m not really a SCI fan, but that guy fucking rips.
No Country for Old Men was my favorite, the ending was perfect. People who need conclusive endings shouldn’t see it, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie.
still haven’t seen INto The Wild, or no country for old men or I’m Not There or a lot of stuff.
from what i did see though i saw some good things. The better movies i saw i saw at the Kennedy School but i swear i could watch a simulcast of an OAR concert in there and probably have a good time.
Superbad
Simpsons
