i know its hard, but what would you say your favorite show is for every year that phish toured (lets just disregard 2002). if you can’t name one, at least narrow it down to a few…
I’ve been listening to fall 1994 and 11/22/94 has really stood out for me.
Too many shows in each year to decide. The only true response i can give to this ? is 12-31-02! ;D

11-05-88 - unreal show, just what I’ve always wanted
08-26-89 - LP09! Good times
12-29-90 - my first show!! someone find me set two!
05-17-91 - Page’s birthday, Campus Club Prov, RI
03-13-92 - I don’t have enough '92 … it was this or NYE 12/31/92.
07-24-93 - Great Woods … I’m bound to pick from shows I saw I suppose. Makes it easy at least.
12-29-94 - Providence. It was that or 7-08-94 Greatwhenge.
07-02-95 - Sugarbush first night.
1996 – Clifford Ball. I don’t discriminate between days or sets.
1997 – Great Went. No discrimination.
1998 – Lemonwheel. Same Deel.
[^I was at them festivals, so they’re my favorites of those respective years despite whatever they played anywhere else during those years. I’m not picking them just because they’re such a big deal, whoop-dee-doo or anything.]
1999 – I just heard a set one from a real good July show (7/25 maybe? NC is it?) … they opened with Meat and then I think the show includes “My Left Toe” … a wicked show. I’m goin with whatever show that is, for lack of '99 exposure, apologies to '99 fans.
2000 – 9/14/00, LP03. I didn’t think they were especially great during this show, but on the other hand I love listening to this one. It gets a surprising amount of play, you know? Driver, Albuquerque, Drowned, OKP>Suzy are my standouts.
2001 – Also, Space Zarathustra
2002 – ^I’m with 99 fan over there, gotta be the New Years show. Never heard it.
2003 – Haven’t heard enuff … I liked some of the July stuff I heard, but the only shows I’m really familiar with are Worcester in Feb & Boston in … Nov? Of those two I def. prefer Worcester. But both shows are sort of a tough listen for me, neither could be my favorite. I guess IT would have to be my pick, since the IT DVD is my best 2003 related Phish object.
2004 – Going against my own grain, I’m going with first night SPAC, 6/19 … even though the '04 show I attended was 8/11. I have a nice recording of SPAC first night that someone gave to me (I have a hunch it’s the official d/l version) and it’s just such a nice show top to bottom. Great Woods 8/11 was cool, but not as cool as 6/19.
2009 – 3/6/9 man. I already love it.

I think it’s unique and excellent, but I’m sure others from the OKP disagree.
I can’t call it my favorite from 2000, though. The entire Japan run was pretty good.
Then there’s Camden > Deer Creek, Merriweather Post, Vegas, and Shoreline…
99- Hard to vote against Big Cypress, but I love 7/15/99.

As much as I love 2000, I wouldn’t put 6/14/00 in the mix for “best/favorite show of the year.”
the second set of that show would beg to differ. is everyones favorite show of 2003 2-28 Nassau simply because of the fact they played destiny unbound? (though i do like it, and the tweezer) i liked 3-01 and 7-29 a bit more. not to mention IT.
I like 2-28, but it’s not my favorite from that tour. I like 2-20 and 2-22 better.
