I changed my mind after reading Emmet’s post ^, and re-voted for 11/17/97.

I begin by saying that the Island Tour altogether goes down as my favorite run of Phish shows EVER.
BUT, 4/3 isn’t my favorite, and I’ve posted or chatted before about how that “Roses” isn’t anywhere near my favorite versions of any song Phish has played.

Also, my most consistently favorite Phish years are '93 & '94, so the exclusion of so many shows that I absolutely love from this era, especially up to the Elite 8, were noted. So I end up voting for a tour at first…

Yet in the end, I realize that I have spent many occasions jamming out to 11/17 on my CD’s and ipod, loving the opener, loving the jams, the YEM, and the consistency to which everything was played that evening. Phish had say as to what got released in the original LivePhish series. There are other reasons Denver '97 got picked over every other Fall '97 show (Dayton excluded because of its own SBD liberated by them) besides that “Ghost” that Trey so loved…

Out of the final 2, I say Denver.
