how do i burn such files as flac directly to audio disc without…i have the program burn4free and it automatically converts them before burning
I’m not sure if you can burn .flac files directly onto a disc… You could go with Flac Frontend, that converts the .flac files into .wav files. I’m not sure if that is what you are asking, but something similar was discussed in another thread, I’ll try to find it and see if it is what you are looking for…

Some versions of Nero (might be all of them, but I’m not sure) can burn FLAC to an audio cd.
Figuring out your audio formats is ESSENTIAL to enjoying Phish these days, I think. Knowing how to use SHN/FLAC is a great add on to the number of shows you can access.

Does FLAC front end do the same things MKW does? and does FLAC front end work with other lossless formats?

jetaudio will burn flac files directly onto a cd as audio. check out jetaudio.com for details. i bought the iaudio x5 media player which plays flac files and it came with jetaudio. i burned a cd with flac and it played in my car and a stereo. unlike nero, it doesnt need a plugin. its awesome. i highly recommend it.
i dl’ed a copy of nero from limewire and it works great with burning flac files to cd. (also seamless in between tracks). i would definitely not recommend the use of limewire to anyone though-it really fucked up my computer. if you can get nero anywhere else though, i highly recommend that
