Has anyone watched this show? It’s amazing. I’d say it’s the funniest new show to come out since Arrested Development. The characters are amazing, the songs are top notch and the acting…well their Kiwi’s, what do you expect?

It’s about a New Zealand folk duo who are trying to make it in the States, but they only have one Fan and their Manager Murray looks after their business affairs.

There are only 12 episodes so far, but they are going to be doing a second season in 2009. I’d highly recommend picking up the first season on DVD though, as I garuntee you it will be one of the funniest shows you’ve seen in a long time.

I’ve seen a few episodes. Not side-splitting, but not half-bad. Actually, my favorite episode that I saw involved Murray thinking he signed them to a HUGE contract.

There was also an episode about a threesome and LSD that was good, too.

i’ve seen it once or twice and one of their standup specials a few years back.

they’re pretty funny.

my friends love them and when we all play at this bar on wednesday nights the bulk of their sets are just Flight of the Conchords songs.

yea i’ve seen the tv show, they had a radio show in the uk a year or so back too which is on cd now i think. good stuff!

Give them another shot. I’d give them more like 10/12.

Here’s an interesting thing to note; Paul Simms directs and produces quite a few of the episodes. Pretty much the only other things that he has ever worked on are the Larry Sanders Show and he produced every episode of Newsradio.

People should check out Peep Show if they like this, it’s like FOTC but without the songs… plus it even has Rachel Blanchard playing the hot girlfriend like she does in the first couple of episodes of FOTC.

I’m not sure if it’s shown on TV or not, you can buy it online from playusa.com but it’s expensive, or you could just download it.
