ok so buster brought up the idea of a folder for reviews and i think its a great idea. however, there are quite a few folders at the moment so i thought we could discuss options for merging folders… in addition to people’s thoughts on a review section.

so here’s my initial thoughts on poissible folders/subfolders:

general phish
–album discussion
–individual song discussion
–live phish discussion
on the road
–reviews
–setlists
–meetup board
member projects
show trading
–bnp’s
–vines
–lists
–the okp archive
rumor mill
non-phish discussion
mike’s chess challenge (locked?)

so, lets toss out ideas and see what people think. ultimately its ians call… (it would take some time away from new episodes of ‘foot drama’ so that’s something to consider ;)) but i think a little reorganization could be good.

Seems like a good idea, but did you miss out the ‘general phish discussion board’?

the revolution is NOT over…Zoot needed some financial backing…so, we the browns, offered to fund his revolution.

Okay, so I understand what teh_ghey is, but what is ‘teh_brown’?

we could either create an ‘other’ section or just have random stuff fall below the sub-folders as they do in the album dicussion section…

one downside would be that ??a wouldn’t typically be accessible from the main page… although it might make it more incognito.

btw, i’m just tossin ideas out there… i liked busters idea of a review section but we already have about 18 folders on the front page so i thought some reorganization might be good…

as for teh brown… the development of a secret happy jumbo bigtime board has translated into the need for increased funding. i’ve set up teh brown with a solid supply of bj pizzas in exchange for a steady cash flow.

I like your idea for the “On the Road” section and then having the sub folders. I think that would work out great!

I also think it’s a good idea to possibly keep the Mike’s Chess Challenge board, it’s nice to look at once and a while and remind us what we’ve accomplished!

I said this somewhere else, but maybe we could call it the Chess Challenge Board for FUTURE chess competitions. And, nice idea with the On the Road thread, zoot. lifeandhowtoliveit- teh_brown is nothing to concern yourself with. Just a fruity little cult that smells bad… :smiley:

That’s a great idea Zoot, I’m still looking into Will’s idea of drop-down menus. If anyone can find anything (a script?) then please let me know! It would definitely make things a little neater around here.
