for anyone who actually DOSEN'T hate U2

marking the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking album The Joshua Tree, U2 have released a remastered special addition with never-before-heard tracks and a DVD. the DVD contains a complete concert from Paris, France, a documentary, a couple never-before-seen videos and even a hidden easter-egg performance of the band opening for themselves as their alter ego’s, the Dalton Brothers (“We’re the Dalton Bros. This is my brother Luke, on drums is Darryl, on bass, Betty and i’m Alton Dalton. we play two types of music. country and western.”)

just throwin it out there y’alls.

::crickets chirping::

Yeah…I don’t know why I looked at this thread.

Oh and Devo did that opening for themselves as a different band thing years before u2. The used to open for themselves as Dove, the band of Love.

One of my good friends from HS was a HUGE U2 fan (and Depeche Mode).

It wasn’t my thing, but whatever. You can’t help what you like.
