Good Saturday morning/afternoon to ya’ll. I have been listening to this album a lot lately since I’ve been on a real alternative kick. So here is Camper Van Beethoven’s “Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart”. The first album to be described as “alternative,” “Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart” is full of odd choruses and sonic guitar, but lacks the ferocity that alternative music came to be known for in the mid-90’s. A great cold weather album, and a must have for anyone who enjoys alternative music.
