Damn I’ve gone to a lot of shows in 2006… I am SO MUCH happier than when I lived in Dayton… And basically had to drive 40 minutes to Cinci for ANY decent show…

i am really sad to say this, but im not going friday. i have 2 major projects to work on this weekend that require a lot of research, plus some other papers and things, and i need to work friday. it agonizes me to decide this cuz i would love to see galactic, but i cant justify going, cuz i need all the time i can get to work. dammit
What a weekend… I’m still struggling…
Originally wasn’t going to go to this show… But we decided why not, and headed there about an hour and a half after the show started. Recognized the door guy from the RRE show the month before, and he let us in for free since we were so late.
Missed Mike Dillon’s GoGo Jungle which I was kind of dissapointed with… But oh well, its free. Galactic came on and just completely rocked the ballroom. This was definitely one of the best times I’ve seen them.
THEN on Saturday, there was a midnight Benevento Russo Duo show at the Cambridge Room in the House of Blues. Crrrraaaazzy! Was drinking Jameson at my buddies house all night long, and finally made it to the show about quarter to midnight and about a quarter to blacking out. The Duo played until about 2, then we headed on down to our buddies loft in downtown Cleveland. Or so I was told… I don’t remember it 
Yesterday I was in an alcohol coma I believe and barely left my bed all day… But it was worth it!
