dice-k has yet to prove anything to me.
scratch last nights win as he was facing a rookie pitcher in his debut on the road in the national spotlight in one of the biggest rivalries in baseball…and it took 4 consecutive hr for the sox to take the lead. he still let up 6 runs.
dice-k has let up 12 runs in 27 innings (4.00 era). though his 31k are impressive, he beat the royals (golf clap) for his mlb debut then lost two consecutive games until last night. i credit most of his strikeouts to players never facing him before. as the season progresses (specifically after the allstar break) lets see how good he is doing against his division foes when they are seeing him for their 3rd or 4th time.

While admittedly HATE The Red Sox, they just may be the most Complete team out there right now. And with the Yankees having to face the ChiSox, Mets, an Angels team that always give them fits, and the Bosox, all on the road in the next two weeks, they could have a stronghold on the AL East by Mid June. See ya in October Sox. Cant wait to Conjure up those “Buckner Demons”.

The residents and staff are all into the Sox at the nursing home. The games are on every TV. It’s fun. Many residents are form the Boston area. One 90-something old lady used to get season tickets for years and years. Can’t help but get into it. She has no clue whats going on but just mention the Red Sox and she perks up.

Yeah, how is he suposed to bring leadership and morale to the Yanks when he doesn’t have to travel with the team? Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of bringing in the veteran with ‘experience’? Sure, they’ll get 50-70 good innings from him, but probably the same, if not more, bad innings. Worth $18 mil? At least they didn’t pay a posting fee
