Good Afternoon Oh Kee Pa

Great afternoon, Pa.

On Tuesday I seriously thought the Dukes days were numbered, and that number was 1. He hadn’t eaten in close to a week, and the few of you that have met him (which I think don’t really come around here anymore unfortunately) know that food is his number one love in life.

Well, it has all come around and that appetite is back. Nothing wrong with his insides, it may have been some sort of disease or infection from a tick bite. Will know better on Wednesday when we go back to the specialist.

It’s one of the greatest feelings when you go from a very low to a very high.

^good deal William. hope Duke gets good treatment.

Great afternoon here too, glad to hear about Duke, Will.

I just shot great disc golf, well not bad anyway, at a couple different courses. My brother and I were gonna meet at our usual course but remembered last-second style that it’s closed this morning for a tournament. So we shot 18 at Buffumville and then 9 more at Hodges. My scores were 62 + then 32, Mike went 60 and 34. Hodges is a challenging course, and it’s a little bit strange. I hadn’t been there in probably a couple years, and I was really digging it today for whatever reason. We almost didn’t go actually. Now I’m anxious to go back and play it again soon.

Have to work a quick shift here at the office, and then I’m gonna just stay home for the night and do what I can to improve my life. With a little bit of luck I’ll be throwing in the morning again, and spending the rest of Sunday with my kids. We’ll see if that blueprint flies.

I like having a solid plan, I’m anxious without one.

   for Duke.

Just finished rototilling some of the garden, and then planted peas and lettuce from seed. The great garden activities have begun!

Cleaning up some of the leaves still laying around. It’s awesome since there was so little snow, they’re all in one piece. What a crazy winter. Let’s have more.

I have to do laundry. I’m feeling laazzzzzy today. So lazy that “drink coffee” was on my to do list.

It is my roommates birthday. He’s a fucking asshole but I bought him a present anyway. I also realized today I own a piece that I haven’t seen in a long time. No clue where that sucker is but I’d like to find it. Likely stolen. :frowning:

In more positive news, another one of my friends is having a 21st birthday party so I’ll be drinking a lot of whiskey later. Might even pop into the drunk/stoned thread.

Good afternoon OKP.

'Afternoon, OKP.

Late night of drinking last night… it’s going to be a slow Sunday, raining out too.

Going to laze around… interweb and catching up on some reading today.

Well good afternoon.

Now I don’t have to moleste the good morning thread with my tardiness.

I’m wasting time in my work vehicle outside a nursing home. I hate it when staff calls in x-rays near lunch time. There’s a 50/50 chance you’re going to catch them while they’re eating. Some patients eat on trays in their rooms, so I can still do their exams. I have 2 patients here and of course they’re both in the diningroom. So I wait and I wait and I wait.

Well, One can totally… Err, wait that was sarcasm, right?

Afternoon PAHSTERS!

Not completely. Though I say Whirry blows away Tweed…but sadly not literally.

Opening Day for the Tigers today (and obviously many other teams). I caught the Marlins/Cards last night…Lohse had a no-hitter into the 7th which was fun. And, man, that contraption in center field of the Marlins stadium is just wacky…your eyes are just drawn to it every time it’s on camera. And the lime-green!…so much lime-green!

It’s been a very odd day. I should have known when I vomitted in the shower that it was no ordinary day. I got to work at 9, but immediately left and came back at noon. One of our 4 vehicles was getting new tires which meant one of us would have nothing to drive until it was fixed. Since I was going to have 3.5 hours of OT which is strictly forbidden, I volunteered to leave and return in 3 hours. Now I’m back in action, but there is a BAD ASS rain storm that is ravaging the area and I’m stuck here. The machine would get soaked and possibly ruined if I tried to load up right now. Most of the places we go to have overhangs or canopies to park under, but not this place. So I’m waiting out the storm to load up and head back out. Luckily I don’t have any other exams at the moment. And just for good measure, the lumbar spine I just took was outstanding

Hope you all have a good afternoon!

Wires suck…

Good afternoon PA!

Beautiful day in the missoula and bitterroot valleys…lookin forward to a nice chill quiet evening at work watching netflix and perusing the boards.

Can’t believe how long it took us to finally invent the Good Afternoon & Good Night threads. Well, we had a few before, but these are actually rolling, currently.

I’m all, it’s 4.15 on Friday and not a lot to do. Chill out in the chat? I’m thinking of disc golfing after work, but I’d have to have the unanimous agreement of all three kids, pretty sure. They sometimes really don’t wanna go with me, and tonight’s the wife’s night, I’ve volunteered to stay in. So I should call them now and tell them they have no choice, and it’s the only way to dinner.

Passover is on the way in, and looking forward to nice talking and eating with the family. Catch ya’ll on Monday

good afternoon…general cleaning, coffee and bluegrass at the shop. I only made half a pot so I wouldn’t get too spun out and lose my appetite for my sandwich.

its been snowing all day in the mtns…which I welcome. even though I won’t be goin skiing anymore this year I still like seeing it…summer will be long enough

Sorry, couldn’t make the morning thread, have been on the go since 8. We’re prepping the house for Easter celebrations here tomorrow. We decided not to eat out this year because of everyone’s conflicting schedules tomorrow with other commitments, so Marie and I are cooking some things, and buying other things already prepared, so that we can enjoy the day tomorrow along with the family.

By three, they should be all outta here tomorrow, and Marie and I will enjoy our stash of Reese’s peanut butter eggs, after they wipe us out of all the other candy we purchased.

Well, back to work.

I’m always thrown off by these since it’s always morning to me.

It’s ALWAYS morning to you?

What I’m a little confused by, is this:

When one views the late day unfolding as:

afternoon > evening > night

… then where does evening begin and end, exactly? It must involve sundown. And dinner.

Dinner or supper, that’s another thing. Definitions on dinner and supper. I think it’s simple, that one, you can just freaking have dinner at lunchtime and/or suppertime. But supper’s not a thing you can have for lunch.

For a minute I thought I was in Type Your Thoughts, but here I am, still.
