Afternoonz! I wasn’t really ready for the morning thread today I guess. My car is ready, mechanic I have is a god-send. Topped off my fluids, tightened a belt, replaced two tires (with some used ones he had on hand) and patched a third one … $75.
So I’m tryin to figure out when I’m going to grab that puppy. I’ve been thinking of naming it “Barry”, although someone told me I named my guitar “Larry”, which I don’t remember doing.
Rocking a ZZ Top 1979 concert - Rockplast I think. I only have the one, so whatever show that is I have, that’s the one this is.

Ya, I say “good morning” to everyone no matter what time it is. Just makes it easier that way. Perhaps it may be why I prefer the Good Morning thread.
I read somewhere that evening starts at 6pm. Not sure where I read it though…was long ago.
What I don’t get was how in the movie Gremlins they say “Don’t feed them after midnight.” That’s clear enough but how long does this last? Until 1am? Until 5am? It’s never very clear. No one seems to inquire on the details and I suppose that why they end up with Gremlins all over the place in both of the movies.

Good afternoon! I was a little hungover pre-lunch, so it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to discover I did not post in teh Good Morning.
Had lunch late, and dinner’s at like 8, so it works out. Got to get in a nap before dinner though so I can drive home right. Speaking of driving without crashing, wonder how Mr Garcia’s doin up in NH today.

Afternoon cup o’ sounds perfect for my day, brewing one up now. Much thanks to hasemastahh and gp. Little slow to get going today, it’s raining and not to warm. Lazing around, reading, watching parts of There Will Be Blood on AMC, sooooo glad they’re playing it on that channel now.
I’m drinking coffee too. Did some homework, probably could do more. Always could do more. Tonight my friend is playing in a band at a party. He told me the set list and it should be a fun time. If I remember, it’s like Legalize It, Blue Sky, Prince Caspian, Weekapaug, a few originals, and I think one other Phish song. According to my friend the lead guitar is a real shredder and cop all of Trey’s licks LOL so I’ll probably get nice and drunk and rock out. Good afternoon OKP and let that extend to the evening and night.

Man it is cold today! We had snow flurries this morning. WTF? The temp’s gone up a little, but it’s still windy as hell. Not fun to work in.
Despite the weather, today is like, the best day ever. Well, the best day in a couple of months. I didn’t get sick this morning, wahooooooo!

Best day in a while for me! Havin a nice evening at work, and I think I got a place to live!!! Totally cool remote log house on an older dudes 40 acre farm, nestled in an epic quarter mile wide canyon/bowl with 300 ft hills on 3 side. Totally psyched. A little stream runs thru so I hear running water when I step out my door
