Good Monday morning. Have the day off, but am up at 430 anyway. Actually it’s probably got more to do with the time change, since we were also asleep on the couch by eight, especially after working in the yard all day.
Taking care of business a little today before seeing David Byrne tonight. The furnace guy is coming in this morning, I have to drop some paperwork off at the job a little later, and then a periodontal appointment this afternoon.
Should be a good day all around. Hope yourns is as well.

Just heard the news this morning that the Pistons traded Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess for Allen frickin Iverson. Good Lord, that’s nuts. Amazingly, I’ll be more bummed at losing Dyess than I will Chauncey. We needed scoring, a clutch player and a dude who attacks the basket and we got all that with AI. His Defense isn’t so great but it’s not like Chauncey was that impressive in the last few years anyway.
We haven’t had a legit superstar in Detroit since the Bad Boys. This is pretty nuts. WOW…

I’m really disgusted and bitter with politics at this point, and I don’t like either presidential candidate. I think I’ll get a haircut instead. Either way, it will be an interesting night at work, watching the results.

So there’s this Ameripark open job interview that i received an e-mail about after filling out this ridiculous application online. Its an open house interview from 2-4 and the e-mail doesn’t specify what specific position it is for.
I think maybe i’m supposed to go but that time frame would really conflict with my plan of dressing up all crazy and standing on the corner of a major intersection and campaigning for Skywalker/Kenobi.
