Morning out there. It’s a dreary day in Asheville, but life is pretty sweet despite. Started a new job last week back in x-ray finally. It’s a pretty tough job taking a van around to nursing homes and x-raying the elderly, but hopefully I’ll get the hang of it soon enough. Nothing like being in charge of driving a van in a town you’ve only lived in for 3 months. I do like it though. I get to get out and drive around in the beautiful scenery that is Asheville. Other than that, just enjoying the flow. Hope you are all doing the same. Be well kids!
Well, it was called an episode, so I am holding hope that it was not a stroke, but yeah one could assume this.
Thanks for the well wishes hank, hard day as we get more info today from the doc…
Morning all. 35 and cloudy with rain off and on today…
Blah…
^Hopefully it’s only a warning and that he’ll be able to take steps to ward them off in the future.
Don’t know why stroking can have such a bad connotation, and such a pleasurable one.
Morning all. Only in the office two and half days this week, but I’m still glad it’s Friday. Have to go for my yearly urology exam, but I can deal with it. I chose my urologist because he has the thinnest index finger in the state.
Home early after that, and then a bunch of the gkids come over for pizza dinner and Rampage on the Wii. Should be a fun night with people my own mental age.
You ever play Tanks for Wii?
I did once and had a blast. Love the music, too.
OKP! Good morning to you!!!

I continue to be a little bit happier each day, in the knowledge that Phish will continue.
The car ride this morning was an “I Am Hydrogen” from 11-5-1988. Last night I listened to set one of 11-2-1998. This morning I had “5th Round” from Horseshoe Curve spinning on my record player. It’s a great time to be a Phish fan all of a sudden, isn’t it?
^yeah I also thought that was one of the better posts outta Neil in a while.
'mornin folks. have a good weekend.

Just bought it on your recommendation along with some extra controllers and nunchucks. Trying to buy myself some solace after having the urologist step up my prostate awareness. My psa levels are up, which means additional testing. Sux.
I think you’ll enjoy it. It’s addicting!
Be aware Bill…be aware!
^^ Did you get Wii Music Bill? That’s something that everyone would have a blast with. No points, no comepetition…you just get to pick you instrument and play it how you’d please with the wiimote and nunchuck. It’s barely a game, but it might be one of the coolest inventions of this century, and will hopefully turn a lot of kids onto actually playing a real instrument.
^I had that in my hands at Best Buy, and it was part of the decision to buy an extra controller to complete the set of four, or to buy Wii music. With all the gkids coming over tonight, both would have been fun, but I opted for the last controller in my decision.
Wii… I have it - just not sure what to get for it yet…
2 posts within a few days of eachother, sweet! Good morning out there. It’s cold, very cold. This shall be my first day on my own at the new job. Been in training for the last 2 weeks so I had someone with me telling me what to do. My luck all my patients will be immobile and weigh 400 lbs today. So, like, who’s got my extras to Hampton?? Have a great one, all!
^Morning Ollie. Good luck on the new job, hope it works out for you.
It was about 37 this morning in central NJ, but sunny and nice. Quite a change from all the rain and wind we’ve had lately.
Am stuck in all day meetings today and tomorrow, and am lucky enough to have some vial microbes trying to take over the health of my body. If I don’t take drugs round the clock, my throat gets very sore and my temperature rises enough to make me feel like shit, listless and achy.
So I’ve go myself pumped up to get me through the next couple of days, will be bathing my throat constantly with water, with hopes I can flush this crud out of my system without the use of antibiotics which I hate taking.
In the meantime, have a great week everybody.
Morning all, seems like the crud is hitting many folks up, I hope to bypass it this season as last year I was hit HARD!~!!
I find out more about the tests my father had Friday, please send good vibes this way! Thanks a bunch OKP pholks!!!
^vibes^
Good morning to all! I’ve got AOL radio feeding me 80s goodies today. It just felt right. It’s Hall & Oates right now, that’s exactly what I’m talkin bout. Cheesy pop from my childhood while I try and concentrate on this TOTAL F*&$#NG BU$$$$t!!! work which lies before me.
::ignores job whilst working::
Sorry you aren’t feeling well Fone! I figure it’s just a matter of time until I catch the crud since I’m in and out of a van all day long. It takes a good 5 minutes to load and unload the machine so I’m out there getting my ass kicked by the wind all day long. First day alone went fine. I got sent to one of the crazy houses we have a contract with. That was fun. Some problems with the electricity hook up to the van, so I was there for a while, but all in all the films turned out fantastic and I’m pretty pleased. The high is in the 30’s today, so that should be fantastic for my health. Stay warm, Ohkeepa and have a great day!
Morning mates. Chilly ass morning for sure, but I’m feelin better and that’s cool. Back into another all day meeting session, but it beats sitting at my desk being bothered by people with requests.
Got home last night around seven, and Marie was out with the girls, so I cranked the system and inserted one of the Roxy disks that came on Saturday and then proceeded to beat the shit out of the Wii tennis people. Seems to be one of new favorite pasttimes, a puff, some tunes and wii. Sure gets my mind out of the worries from the day.
Have a good one.
^Sounds like a good time there Fone.
Chilly today and I have to travel to meetings all day here. OKP, thanks for the nice thoughts, CT scan last night on my Pops and we get results this week…
