Hey, hey, hey. It’s a great morning mostly because it’s a Friday.
Been a tough work week, and it’s not over, but almost. And that’s good enough.
Going into the city again this weekend to take one our granddaughters on a train ride to buy an “American Girl” doll. Don’t quite understand what it’s all about, but supposedly it’s a big deal for little girls.
For me, though, I’ll put up with just about anything to see those smiles explode on the face of my grandkids. It’s like the rush when the venue goes dark, you see the shadowy figures coming of the rear stage steps, the crowd is screaming, and then Karoda hits the stage lights as the boys assume their positions and don their instruments.
Nothing like it.
