If he sees his shadow, it means it is sunny and clear and he will be frightened and run back into his hole, meaning 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow, it means it is cloudy and winter will end soon.
I don’t know how they came up with that.

Morning kids!!! My daughter just left with my parents for Kentucky and won’t be back till Sunday evening. I have absolutely no idea what to do with myself for the next 3 days. I think Blueground Undergrass is playing downtown tonight, so I should probably go check them out again. I last saw them in the fall and wowza was it great. I believe it was the week after I watched Phish and Rev. Mosier’s Bluerass Sessions from 94, too. Definitely a real treat to get to see him right here at home. I might watch that today to get me in the mood 
That sucks the groundhog saw his shadow, but since winter just really got started last month, 6 more weeks shouldn’t be too bad, no?

Sun’s out, it’s a little warmer (still cold as hell), and it’s Friday AND pay day.
Plus, the bosses are out of town so it’s just me in the office today. Which means, of course, I’ll have my nose to the grindstone.
Peachy Keen jellybeans… Just another fabulous teen-temperatured day here in Virginia Beach. I got new curtains and my Brand new IMAC last night…so i don’t know about my morning, but my last night was pretty smokin’.
But it’s Friday… and that’s always a good thing.
