just another day here, valentine’s day isn’t really celebrated between andrea and I, very thankful for that! perhaps i’ll just cook her a nice dinner tonight…hmmmmmmmmmmm…

^Yeah, I don’t celebrate it AT ALL with Lera. We are both totally fine with that. If it falls on a weekend we may use it as an excuse to go out to dinner or get drunk—no Pajama-grams or edible undies though.
Yeah…it’s not really a thing with Erin and I either. I sometimes make a little effort to do something a little spontaneous or romantic, but I usually just end up falling back on the wine or nice dinner approach, but since last night was my night to make supper, I’ll let Erin come up with something this time around. I actually did make a pretty sweet meal last night, a Garlic Horseradish Top Sirloin Roast with Lobster Mashed Potatos and Honey Glazed Cinnamon Carrots…plus I made some chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. So I guess that kind of counts as my V-day thing. I might pick up a little gift for her on the way home, but it will probably just be another boring Monday night in front of the TV.
^I just got finished serving my honey Valentine’s dinner. We attempted to go out last night for dinner at the Bonefish Grill, but the place was packed so we picked up some Mexican and ate at home. Tonight I made her favorite pasta dish with butternut squash and shallots, a fine chardonnay, stuffed bread with chocolate dipped strawberries for desert.

My girlfriend and I ate a delicious v-day dinner. Liver, with a side of fava beans, and a nice chianti.
Morning friends. It’s early morning Tuesday and the weather has turned cold again after a near Srping-like day yesterday. Dropped 30 degrees overnight. But hey, what can you do about the weather cept talk about it?
I’m being relocated once again at work. The refugees here in NJ who aren’t moving with the Army to MD are being jerked around as they attempt to permanently shut down different areas of the post. My next move is to this older gigantic building that’s dark and oppressive inside, so I’m not appreciating this move.
But I’ve got tunes in the morning again and I’m not about to let this get to me in advance. Spring is coming and even though it’s colder today, there’s tons less snow cover on the ground, and the change is well on its way.
So have a great productive Tuesday.
good morning! finally got some time off work after 6 days in a row of 9-10 hr shifts…and two of my best buddies are currently driving through buttfuck northdakota on their way to big sky! i’m psyched…

we really need snow and it’s been too warm here, so the conditions on the mountain aren’t the best…but I’ll probably go skiing anyway today. not much else to do. if nothing else I’ll just hit up some smoke shacks and enjoy being outdoors on the mtn
^I will be hitting that area up in March or April, if I can make it to meet you up for a beer!

Yes it is a good morning. Why, you ask? I’ll tell you why. Because as I was driving down the expressway this morning grumbling about how fecking early it was when I saw a car ahead of me with the license plate: PNKTACO. I thought it was kind of funny, but when I passed them there was a middle-aged woman driving the car. That made it much more funny as I expected to see some douchey frat kid driving the car. Yep…methinks it’s gonna be a good day.

Received a different error message when I tried to bring up the OKP up from my work computer yesterday. They think this is a “phishing” web site. Morons are blocking web sites based on keywords.
Three day weekend coming up. Last one until Memorial Day, damn. I’ll have to make a bunch of my own along the way.
Have I told you how great it is to be listening to Phish in the morning again on the way to work? Honestly, if I could tell you when I get there, I’d let you know how much better my whole outlook is during the day.
Morning! Getting some melting finally. I didn’t manage the snow well enough and now I’m anxious for several areas on my property to melt. Gonna probably disc golf for the first time in five or six weeks, looking forward to that. This week has been drastic/intense as my wife started a job monday … she’d been at home forever, finally joined the job club again. so i’ve been seeing the kids off to the bus. Work kinda sucks lately but that’s cuz it’s accounting and it’s February.
