Just bit the bullet and purchased my round trip tix to Paris for the French Open Tennis tournament. Tickets are so damn expensive nowadays for international travel, but I’ll be in France in a couple of months, right before the start of Summer Tour!!
Which reminds me to order some ciggies for my Camel Lite franchise. Hee hee.
Still shifting through some vendor documents and technical drawings to summarize for the big boss here. Hopefully I’ll get that sorted before Friday morning’s ticket on sales so I can stay home in the morning and play the TM strategy game.

I come to you from my bed this morning. Feeling yucky from Fat Tuesday yesterday, so my boss likes to give us a day off to recover. 
Maybe I should go down to my local cathedral and get some ashes on my forehead to repent of my wrongdoings yesterday . . .Nah! Catholocism has never been my bag . . .
It’s been a shitstorm here all night though, rain, wind, tornados. Man, I slept like a maybe . . .Probably gonna spend the rest of my rainy afternoon packing up my life. This move is SO close I can taste it. Honestly, I’m just ready to get it over with. My parents have never visited anywhere above the state of Virginia. My mom went to Colorado once. I’m afraid they’re gonna hate NE and welll . . .

Morning OKP. Little hungover on ice cream cake from our gdaughter Maddy’s birthday party last night 
. Good times with the family again, even if it was middle of the week. She’s ten and an avid reader, and received a Kindle for her birthday that she was thrilled with, especially since her Mema has one and she gravitated to it every time she came over for a visit. Cool night.
Good to see Spring is almost here, just in time for me to move my chores from inside the house to outside. Lot’s of debris scattered around the yard that I’ll soon be cleaning up to begin the process of waking of the lawn with a little food as the spring rains start falling as well. Food and water, what every organism needs.

yeah I have to work today for the first time since last wednesday, so not looking forward to it…probably gonna try to sneak in a couple extra ski runs and screw people over on their ski breaks. I’m really starting to get apathetic about the last 5 weeks of ski season, so I hope it’s a good day today. at least I got a pretty dank turkey/pepperjack sandwich to eat for lunch.

Well, my car died last night. 
She was a good one. Went on many a trip with her, and she’s seen her share of Phish lots. But alas, she gave her last breath yesterday.
So I’m driving my mother-in-law’s car, which is a sweet ride. But right now, my Goldilox is sitting in my garage, waiting to be cleaned out and have some charity come and pick her up.
So I guess it’s time to look into leasing, cause I sure as hell can’t afford to buy new, and I just don’t feel like dealing with a used car.
Man, this is double punch in the berries. Not only is my car gone, but the funds are definately short, and don’t need this expense right now.
How much can I get for donating sperm & blood?

Why can’t the burden we carry go away?
No, don’t lease man, buy used. I promise, if you do your research and find a good, reputable used car dealer, you will come out on top, BIG TIME. I have had quite a few cars, and I’m young, and it’s all because I know how to find and deal with used car dealers to maximize what I’m getting out of the deal. Every time I have traded a car in, I have not spent an extra penny, and my mileage has gone down each time as well. Look at used Hyundai’s, they are very affordable, and Hyundai makes a fantastic product these days. You should be able to find some 06-08 models that are very affordable. A friend of mine drives a Sonata (which is what you will want to look at for a sedan), and she absolutely loves it and has never had problems with it.
