Yeah, Friday!
Supposed to be a decent weather weekend here, and we don’t have a whole lot planned. Have to do my taxes this weekend, and maybe start cleaning up the outside a bit, but other than that our gson is coming over for the weekend. He only lives ten minutes away, but all the gkids want a turn staying over. Seems to give them a break from the competition for attention in their own houses, and they get that “special” treatment that gparents love to give them.
Besides, he loves to watch some of the vampire movies I have on my shelf, something he’s still not allowed to watch at home. Just bought a cheap copy of From Dusk Till Dawn at Best Buy just because I knew he was coming over.

Having surgery on Monday, nothing major, just a “bump” removed from my neck, shouldn’t be a big deal, hopefully nothing comes back from the tests.

Morning Pa. it is a good day no matter how bad it gets at work…because regardless, i have a bottle of jack at home waiting to be opened, a little green, and today is my 20th day working straight 8 hour days with about 4 10 hour days in there. AND I HAVE THE NEXT TWO DAYS OFF! nothing but couchsitting and gaming/shit ton of tv-movie watching.
Thank god Rockos Modern Life is on instant queue.
Right on fone. When I was a little kid I loved to sleepover my grandparents. Today I’m fortunately very close to my grandma. When my parents weren’t too eager to help me with PTBM and TIcketsuck I called my grandma and she found me a 1/1 ticket. 
Back in the mid-nineties, my cousins and I rented Fear on video and watched it over the grandparents.
When that roller-coaster scene came on, my grandma had quite the “what the fuck are we watching???Q!!!” reaction.
It was humorous.

Good morning. First band practice today in 6 months. Like I said, it’s a good morning.
Morning everyone. It’s raining outside so I’m gonna be having a lazy day. Probably do some laundry and go by the music shop.
Went to band practice last night and worked on some new songs. We also learned Casey Jones since this guy who put us on the bill at his private party/crawfish boil requested some dead. So far we have Casey Jones, Scarlet and Fire on the Mountain. I’m thinking about maybe trying to do Dire Wolf or another country sounding one as well.

Great weekend with the gson. Was supposed to be one night, but he wanted to stay over last night as well. Do we have a great grandson or what?
After Pizza Hut Fridany night we stopped into a Game Stop store and bought him a game because he came packed with his Xbox and set it up in the spare room that he slept in. I also bought something for me…
because I’m tired of getting pissed at the Wii Sports baseball game. It really blows. But that’s beside the point. This morning after breakfast, he an I played baseball. I was the Mets, he the Devil Rays. We had the best time, not so much taking the competition seriously as much as horsing around with the game. Can’t remember when I laughed so hard, or saw him that happy. Damn what a great weekend indeed.

Morning 'Pa. Let’s get this week started in here.
Been unseasonably cold round here, and even though we haven’t had any white stuff to speak of, I’m really anxious for some Spring temps. Did some yard maintenance yesterday afternoon after Jaime left, but it just didn’t feel like it should’ve. The longer daylight hours imply warmer to me, and it was a little offputting that I was still so bundled up doing the yard work that I enjoy this time of year.
Hope everyone has a great start to the week. And if your week isn’t defined by the typical work days, I hope your days are great just the same.

Good weekend. got to wake up saturday and sunday all on my own, with no help from the alarm clock. 
went to a poker game on friday, $20 buy in. mostly stayed at the 20, got down to 10, last hand of the night, $40 pot, Squares (gut-game)…dealt two kings, a two AND a four…walked out with $50. also got to watch a lot of movies. good stuff.
