Count your blessings. It was 35ËšF here! Fucking tropics, man.
But in all seriousness, we have (thank fucking god) reverted back to normal March temperatures for the mountain region: high 50s to mid 60s during the day, mid 30s to low 40s at night. That’s as good as you could possibly ask for in the South, folks, let me tell ya. Down in New Orleans or somewhere like that, March is when it gets to point where you get out of the shower and IMMEDIATELY start sweating your nuts off from the ridiculous humidity and heat. I will never, ever, ever, as long as I’m alive, live in a place with weather like that again. Soon as I graduate, North Country here I come.
Had a nice, relaxing weekend, and now it’s back to the grindstone. Not so bad really, though, just gotta keep my head above water and keep pushing on. I’m getting closer and closer to actually studying what I am in college to study, so that’s a great feeling. I can’t wait until I’m writing reports about wildlife activity and tree health and water quality in streams instead of reports about fucking poetry and doing algebra problems and shit. Ah well, only 11 credit hours stand between me and my Associate’s degree, which in NC translates into having already completed your core classes. Which means that when I go to a university, all I will have to do is study the courses for my major, which is such a great feeling. Should be able to get everything knocked out by the end of summer, and then I’m on my way to getting my Bachelor’s!
