^^Traced this page down after you guys talked about it yesterday, and it caused me to have a dream that included Doug it it. I was helping him with some sort of experiment where he was in charge of a test team that had me lying outside on the ground covered by a tarp as they ran some scanning device over me. Seemed like it took forever, but then we all went to this old mansion and for a gigantic feast.

I’m glad my hair isn’t that short anymore. I’m back to doing these experiments that keep me on a rigorous schedule with little sleep. And I have to get up at 2:30am for 5 minutes in the middle of the night. First night doing these and I’m already dragging ass. Add this on top of the giant proposal I’m working on for my prelim exam and it’s going to be a rough few weeks. Still, should be worth it in the end…::crosses fingers::
I don’t get it… what effect do the test tubes have on fruit flies?

Sitting on an all day teleconference call, but with the mute button on, no one can hear me typing to the OKP. It hardly seems ethical to be collecting money for this. But hey, I can certainly multitask while the discussions move in and out of elements that I’m concerned with. At least I didn’t have to drive to MD this morning for it. I saved the taxpayers $169.85 by dialing in remotely. (I’ll split it with you and the rest of the people in the country.)
With every day, Marie and I are spinning up into full Thanksgiving dinner mode. Our planning begins about ten days before, and in includes a rough schedule with milestones assigned until the day to execute the dinner. We are really anal retentive when it comes to the holidays, but we’ve found that we get to enjoy more of it with the family if we reduce the amount work on the day of. But we’re not ashamed to admit that the fact the family appreciates Thanksgiving ahead of all other holidays, makes us extremely proud of our efforts.
But enough of that. Where’s the picture of beautious butts wishing me a Happy Hump Day? Eh, Brett?
^ He’s busy killing deer. Opening day for rifle season was yesterday here in MI.
Love me some good hunting, especially with the deer population so bad… I have never and will never hunt Deer, as I just would not eat them, but bird hunting and fishing, game on!

Yeah, I don’t mind shooting the deer as long as their eaten…that IS the natural way of stuff after all. I do find it funny when hunters describe their prey as “beautiful, majestic animals” and pretend they respect them and such. Funny way of showing it.

One of the primary jobs of shamans is too appease the souls of those animals who had to be hunted. Restoring balance and what not. In hunter-gatherer societies it’s one of the reasons they had shamans. You know those deer probably get pretty pissed when they’re killed, gutted and used for food and necklaces. That’s why the shaman has to travel to the spirit world and be like, “hey, your bones and meat really helped us out back there. I know you’re mad but just realize it’s like the great circle of life man and you’re a part of it! Dig it? And above all THANK YOU!”
