Morning 'Pa. Heading out this morning Halloween costume hunting with Carly and Maddie. We buy the gkid’s costumes every year, and try to make a bit of a day of the routine with breakfast first and then hanging out here afterwards. Looking forward to it.

Tomorrow we’re meeting with our travel agent in the afternoon for him to give us our luggage tags and to go over the last few recommendations and questions about the upcoming Disneyworld trip. Next time we plan something like this, I won’t being using an agent (wasn’t my choice to do so this time) since I’m doing more than half the work online anyway.

Good morning fine peoples. Perfect fall weather the last few days for me. Spent the day at the University of Michigan yesterday and left with job offers in writing for two different positions. Still have to graduate which will take another six months but I will be employed so that’s all gravy. Phish in ten days for me. That’s like really good gravy.

I always keep some Excedrin around because I get migraines occasionally. If I feel one coming on and can take some Excedrin right away it’ll prevent the migraine or at least make it much more tolerable. Nothing else works for migraines for me.

^Mmm…OTC with codeine. I’d like that option in my health insurance marketplace.
Is everyone really taking the name brands of these pain killers, or do you just use the names to reference them more easily? I’m not sure I have ever purchased a name brand of something like that. Is there any real difference between Bayer and Rite Aid brand aspirin or Excedrin and Walmart’s Aspcafimenophen?

Went to a Halloween birthday party last night, which I couldn’t have been grumpier about having to go to all day long. I swore I would be home by 10 and ended up staying late and enjoying myself. Sometimes social integration isn’t horrible. I like beer pong. I have only played a few times, but I’m pretty sure it’s my God given gift.

Good Sunday! Today is the annual Fall Fest at friend Amy’s house. Looks to be a big one this year, with lots of people confirmed. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect day to have it. Crystal clear and cool, but not too chilly. I’m going to have some mixed drinks with cider and caramel apple vodka. Have to go make cornbread now.

Thankfully, you can buy over the counter pain relief with codeine in it over here. You can guarantee it’ll work at least. Pain? What pain?

I definitely think that’s why half the medicine doesn’t seem to work these days. I got some cough medicine with codeine for my cough and it’s ridiculous how much more effective it is. Almost makes it pointless to buy the over-the-counter stuff.

Should have been the perfect sports weekend. Michigan State wins, the Lions win, UofM loses, The Red Wings win, the Tigers win Game 1, even the Pistons win a preseason game…and then with one pitch, the Sawks series turns completely around. Yuck…what a bad taste left in my mouth. I’ve been listening to therapeutic music since.

Shit that was a rough loss yesterday.

I can’t believe Lackluster beat us…I felt so good after the first couple hits in the first inning, then the power goes out (literally and in our bats) and the whole game comes down to a pitching duel.
