Good morning everyone! Little cooler outside than I want, but still a gorgeous day. Have a great Wednesday kiddos!
Good morning … I’m at home, about to get ready for a mid-morning meeting, which gave me the early part of the morning off.
So I dropped my son at school at 7:20 and went around back to play disc golf. Pretty sweet that my son’s school’s got a course, right? Well it used to be a nine hole course. Now there are only five holes (school grounds under construction), so I play four of them backwards on my way out, in order to get nine out of it.
Well I never went there to play during school hours … or during construction hours. I had to park on the road since the lot was full and busy with construction people … and the fairway on another hole had a ton of cars parked on it. After playing three holes, I started to get really jeeved out that a) someone wasn’t gonna like me parking on R.I. 5 … b) someone wasn’t gonna like me playing disc golf during school hours … c) someone wasn’t gonna like me playing disc golf during construction hours … d) I’d hit a car or a grumpy janitor or something.
I looked down the long fairway that I use for “hole 4”, even though it’s actually hole number 7. It looked like trouble. Up until now I’d been mostly at the back of the property, but now I’d be approaching the actual school.
So I sized up the situation … I quickly realized that in my anxiety I was considering abandoning the game, or just playing those first three holes twice more, maybe … but then I thought about it for a second. It’s a beautiful spring morning, I’m doing exactly what it is that I want to be doing, got the mp3s goin’, & not a single person has so much as made eye contact with me out here. The worst that will happen is I’ll be told I’m a bad man. And I would know they were just being judgemental, who are they, right?
So I hucked that sucker.
Scored lousy, but I finished my nine holes and came home in time for coffee. I never encountered a single person either. So all is well. But this post has made me run late for the meeting. Later!
^Some times you just have to put the mind trash behind and go for it. Sometimes the rewards as so much sweeter when this works out for you.
It’s hump day and beautiful in NJ this morning. Work is stressful, but the family is good, so I don’t care.
This morning I looked at the recently released summer schedule for the PNC Artscenter, my local venue (which I hate with a passion), and sighed when the list didn’t include Phish like it used to. That used to give me so much to look forward to in the summer.

a good morning for me for the most part. it’s payday and our software is down so the only thing i can right now is surf the interwebs. my economic stimulus payment did not get direct deposited however and i’m a tad bit nervous about that.

Good morning fine folks of the Oh Kee Pa.
I’ve been a disc golfing maniac this week. I think Saturday I played 18, don’t remember if I played Sunday … I think I did … played Wednesday morning and evening (9 holes each time), Thursday morning and evening (9 holes each). I also got three new discs this week, which just compounds the whole obsession.
Meanwhile I’ve done diddly-squat on my new CD in over a week … there’s rain all over the place now though. Maybe that’ll redirect me, you know?
It’s disorienting for me to be obsessive over something not music related. Never been a sports fan, don’t watch television.
Never been to the city, never seen a car, don’t know what a “computer” is.
Morning all. Working this weekend so nothing planned…like I would have plans if I didn’t have to work, but at least I have a reason to be lame 
This week was my first week back working full-time in over a year and a half. Working long shifts means less days a week spent at work and so far it’s great. No work on Mondays means every weekend is a 3 day weekend woohoo! Have a great Saturday everybody!
Good morning folks…cripes that was quite the mini-bender I just woke up from.
its really nice out today so I feel good about that…and I have nothing planned. Except to feed myself well in some fashion today…maybe a steak or something.
Just cleaned up the house a bit from the party last night and saw that I had a bit of Smirnoff in the fridge and 2 drinks worth of Bloody Mary mix, so yeah…I hope this doesn’t get me too drunk too early.

good morning, okp. Woke up with a sore throat, headache, body aches, and a slight temperature. Not looking good so far. The good thing about working for a dr’s office is free care and drugs, so at least I got that going for me. Heh, free drugs just like back in the day…sometimes it’s really great to be a chick Have a good one!

An unbelievably beautiful morning in central NJ. Wish I could spend it home working around the yard.
Am considering leaving at one today to do just that. That’ll be a six hour day if I don’t stop for lunch, and that’s all they really deserve of my time today anyway. My son-in-law invited me to a Blueclaws (local single A team) game tonight, so I might just mix business with pleasure all around today.
