This computer is part of a network and has 2 different desktop areas. Didn’t know that at first. Whenever I clicked on IE, it said the page wasn’t available. I had to figure out how to get to the actual desktop which was a chore and then I was all good. The computer at my other office doesn’t have an icon at all and took me a while to figure out how to get around that too. They’re sneaky around here but I’m sneakier!

I’m all hopped up on disc golf, camping, Metallica, Homestar Runner, doughnuts & coffee & ohkeepa.com.
Went camping with my kids and brother, and brother’s kid, and this guy Bill we know. We played a round of 18 starting around 6:30pm, and a round of 27 the next day.
Camping rocked, because Bill had really cool camping stuff, and because I didn’t have to be involved in the planning & prep - I had to work right up til 5 and then go get my kids into my car before I could even get up there, so we arranged it so that I could leave the office > get the kids > throw my driver at basket 1.
Watched Some Kind Of Monster, the Metallica docu-flick, with my bride Thursday night, and to my relief & delight, it enhanced rather than destroyed my Metallica experience. I was suspecting it would ruin them for me, but nay. Movie was cool. Lars is weird. James is great. Kirk is a sweetie.
The new Homestar Runner short, The Boloneyman, is hysterical. And doughnuts too, doughnuts & coffee. Those are hysterical too. For some reason.
What a night.
Left my apartment at 7:45pm last night, drove 35 minutes to play cards. Bought $40 worth of chips, cashed out $40 at the end. Left there around 1:30am, came home, went to bed at 2:30pm. Woke up at 7:15am, left my apartment at 7:45am, drove 35 minutes to play golf. Walked 18 holes. Put in $15 to the pot, cashed out $15. Drove 35 minutes home.
Now it’s time to go for a run, then a nice nap on the couch to watch some golf.

Good Morning Everyone!
I’m finally back from Italy, after 2 weeks of family fun. It actually was pretty fun. I got back yesterday around 4pm and I’m trying to get back out of the jet lag time warp. I was up a few times during the night and I think I’ll just stay up for now.
I had a great time. I think I liked my time in the South better since it was more carefree, and my favorite meals were down there. Highlights included sailing up the Amalfi Coast and going to the Paestum Greek Ruins. In the North,I really enjoyed the Dolomites, even though I was a little hungover (from drinking too much grappa with my brother and sister the night before) and I ended up getting sick going up all those switchbacks up in the Italian Alps. We stayed at this old villa from the 1700’s outside of Verona. It had all these cool frescoes on the wall. My last day I went out into Milan by myself and stayed at a neat/slummy hostel. But it was fun roaming around and getting lost and admiring clothes I could never afford in the windows.
2 weeks was a bit long though. But the eating and drinking and exploring was good times!
Ahhhhh…Good Morning, OKP. I had a nice high weekend that is one long haze. Good times. I needed that.
