I’m not entirely sure if you’re like, agreeing with me or suggesting I’ve hassled you.
So … like right on or I’m sorry; whichever.

Actually you spelled it right, congradulations! Anyway my interview went well, it was to be a waitress at an Italian restaurant in the East Village.
They asked those hard hitting questions like “What was your greatest triumph” and I really had to hold my tongue. Because the honest answer to that question is dancing naked on stage with the Flaming Lips. But I told them when I have a good audition. And then they asked if I ever had a dispute with a manager, and I told them about the time I told the owner/manager asked if he could take tips and I said, “I heard the owners not supposed to take tips.” and that I got let go. Maybe that wasn’t the smartest thing to tell them, but the interviewer said I did the right thing so… but anyway. HAPPY FRIDAY MOTHERFUCKERS!
Good morning everyone. I’m up early, but at least I’m not working weekends anymore w00t!!! Had to get my daughter off to the crazy bitch this morning. There’s been a WHOLE lotta drama with that this week. So much I had to go see my attorney yesterday. She’s off her damn rocker, for real. Ever wanted to step back and say, “This is NOT my life”? Okay, I digress.
I’m spending my day packing up my townhouse. The exact location all this stuff will be moved to is still unknown. It’s either going to a house down the street or to my parents garage until I can find a place in Asheville. I really hope this job interview on Monday goes well. I don’t think I’ve ever hoped so hard for anything in my entire life…cept maybe my first Phish show when I hoped upon hopes I would get a YEM. Of course, it was like my 3rd show before I finally got one, so if the record is any indication, I’ll be moving to a house down the fucking street. I think Karma hates me. I guess that’s what I get for getting knocked up by her son. I deserve to be punished by having to deal with her for all eternity. Ain’t life grand?

Don’t you dare steal my phrase, Willson. Don’t you dare!

This always pissed me off about interviews, how the hell is the ‘interviewer’ supposed to know what the right way to handle a situation and what the right and wrong way was? Who are they to decide, God? Just because they’re doing the interviewing they’re so much better and have all the right answers? I was in an interview once and they asked me similar questions and the interviewer kept making comments at my answers as if they were good or bad ways of dealing with them. It really aggravated me to the point that I wanted to leave.

Morning kids. Off to Asheville in a few hours so I’ll be there for my job interview in the morning. Wish me luck. Have a great Sunday everyone!!
Good morning everyone.

On the bright side, at least you would know that you you’d hate working for the guy so you wouldn’t take the job anyway. This is better than people like my last employer who pretend to be one way in interviews and then it totally different. Thank God I’m out of that place…

Why is a man hole cover round?
Because it is.
(I was actually asked this question 4 years ago for the current job I have).
The worst for me is the If you could have three people over, living or dead, who could it be? I mean, how do you answer that? If you pick something like “Jerry Garcia” even if it’s how you really think, they may think it’s lame that you didn’t pick a more “important” figure or, worse, they may view you as just some pot-smoking hippie and also not hire you.
I’ve never been asked it in a real interview and but in a mock-interview run by our college I was asked it and I said “I’d pick Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed just to see if they’d fight.” I’d doubt that would fly in a real one.

^I asked that question to one of my classes I was subbing for. I made them write an essay. The most popular answers were Oprah and Michael Jordan. Some of the other common answers were Barack Obama, various sports figures (so they could get moves from them) and my favorite answers were the kids that wanted to meet Hitler or Osama Bin Laden so they could 1)See what his deal was and 2)smack them!
What grade was that, Funk?
^I think it was 6th or 7th grade at an inner city school for the “gifted and talented”. But at the end of the day they are still a bunch of degenerates. Also, some kid said he wanted to meet Teddy Roosevelt, so he could learn how to run a country properly. He was dead serious too!
I don’t blame him, either.
Teddy Roosevelt was my 6th favorite president.
Good morning everyone! It’s my Monday today. So tired from driving all day yesterday, but fuck it. I’m moving to Asheville! It’s going to be a crazy 2 weeks for sure. Have a great day everybody!!!

Good morning!
Congrats on the job & the move, Ollie!
I feel okay today … workload is just right, and the porridge isn’t too hot.
Morning y’all.
Hanging out for a few hours at my home office, sucking coffee, chomping bagel, listening to the live Brooklyn CDs (Free at the moment), and in a really fine head. Leaving here around noon today to scoot down to Atlantic City to meet up with Marie who is at a conference for work. A friend of hers from work is giving us her comp at the Showboat tonight, so we’re staying over to play around. AC doesn’t really interest us, but we do like going down to Cape May NJ for the beaches and the food, and that’s about thirty miles south of AC, so it all works out nicely for us.
Hope all works our nicely for you too.
enjoy the shore fone, the water is still really cold to be swimming in which kind of sucks.
i like the beach more in september anyways, once everybody has pretty much left, b/c it’s still nice and warm and usually the water is warmest come end of august - september
