The adventure continued last night as I discovered I have no audio through the TV (yet I get it on the little Wii U Gamepad). So couldn’t figure that out and I was switching video and audio plugs around in the back. In the end, I noticed I have three audio-in inputs on my TV and I was using the wrong inputs…silly me for thinking I would use the input that’s right next to the video input. Anyway, I got sound.

Then there was much flailing of arms related to getting the controllers to work. The Wii remote wouldn’t work until I realized it wasn’t plugged in all the way, which solved that.

In the end, I played maybe a half-hour of Mario Galaxy before I went to bed so it looks like it’s finally up and running. I’m not even going to try to connect it online…I really have no reason to and I know it’ll force me to install some hour-long software update that’ll likely screw everything up if I do.

Tweaked the lower back, muscle spasm and soreness in play. Pulled out the muscle rub ointment and nailed it… So, yes it does help the night sleep time!

Need to take my ass to sleep. Will be up early packing and cleaning up. Hope to get in a run. Definitely have to love up my little Piper. I’m already sad about leaving her yet so pumped for the weekend. Torn!

Rough day today.

My right hand is healing from a pretty bad injury almost a week ago now, where I may have broken a bone in there. [Happy to say it was disc golf related and that the shot went off perfectly regardless.] Shook hands a lot today, it’s a little aggravated. Plus I drove in heavy traffic a bunch today, which aggravated my potentially broken ankle from last winter when I didn’t get it x-ray’d. I’m doin great on the whoops broke a bone didn’t follow protocol front.

One of my car tires is leaking, and another has a bad wheel bearing, causing good ol’ automotive stress. Compounded by the stress of getting the tire repaired and the car returned to me in time for my tight schedule. Bearing is still loudly NOT repaired.

My grandmother’s wake and funeral are tonight and tomorrow, and I find myself trying to accomodate work clients and auto repair and the x-ray concept got back burner’d, while I scheme to take tomorrow off. Work obligations did not go according to schedule; a one hour meeting clocked at one hour, 50 minutes. Visited my last client at 5pm, almost two hours later than the plan. My shift didn’t end until well after the wake began.

Funeral home address mix-up made me even later.

I’m a little bit tired. But I had some … ritualistic implements of celebration. And dinner.

I thought I’d unload all that sh*t on you fine folks while I blare “Free” from 7/1/14 in my headphones. 'Nite Oh Kee Pa.

Yikes, quite a losing streak there…it does suck when it seems like everything goes wrong at once and it’s all piling on you. Just bang those things out one at a time and chill for the rest of it. You’ll feel better even if you take care of just one of those issues.

My condolences on your grandmother, Kevin. Also sorry to hear that you have to scheme to be relieved of work duties for one day when you’ve had a loss in your family. Take care and keep on keepin on.
