DECIDES AT LAST SECOND TO JOIN IN ON FUN

um, the show was awesome. im not goona give a detailed review, but the guys played really well. um, the jam in mud city was fucking awesome. the billie jean jam in it was fan-fucking-tastic. get back>mr. completely was sweet. and wilson!!! oh man what a surprise!!! they kept switching between a bluegrass style and normal style. i had a great time.
soon, i will post my thoughts on all three grab shows ive seen. i still dunno which one i like best.
^
just kidding Mcnulty, thanks for the mini-review…that picture was just too purrrrfect not to add…
What are you, Cat Man or something?? I like it.
^at least it’s a phish song icc!
…not that there’s anything wrong with non-phish songs…but, ya know…PHISH!!!
i still wanna hear the bluegrass stylin on it…
^^ yeah, idunno. once i get on a roll i don’t question it…
meow
one more thing i want to add about the show. i forgot that mr. completely segued into goodbye head, and i swear, there was a reba jam in it. not a straight out reba jam, but it was reba like. it was amazing.
im with ya. i didnt go to spac and darien lake to see phish songs so im glad they didnt play any there. the acoustic setup would have been cool to see though. is beltless buckler a mike song off inside in? if its the one im thinking of thats a nice addition to the setlist. hopefully they throw in another all band cover song to replace the ‘every night’ who are you. setlist def looks solid though.

^parts of "Wilson" were performed bluegrass style.
I for one had a blast last night. It took a few songs to get things rollin but by Mud City the place was rockin. In fact i had already decided by Drifting that this was 100 times better than 70 volt parade. I got to finally meet McNulty and Will and hang out with Neck there last night. This was my first time seeing Gordo seperate from Phish and i loved his stuff. As Mcnulty said that Billy Jean jam was sick to death! I foung nothing wrong with the acoustic mini thing. The Wilson thing was cute and gave us a chance to sit and puff for a minute! Goodbye head is the Phishyest sounding tune iv’e heard from any side project to date. Lot’s of breaks and changes throughout. In the beginning of the song i thought i heard hint’s of Eliza and yes things quickly turned to a fast paced Reba-Curtain WITH style jam that smoked! Outside of Phish this is probably the best jam style band iv’e heard this century. Nina and i only planned on seeing this show but as we drove home thoughts of Chicago were tossed around. i have no doubt tonight’s show will not dissapoint as they seem to be getting better show by show! Shine On OKP!
^yes Eliza, I too heard this but at the show at PNC holmdel. I thought i was going crazy, thank god somebody else heard it
it would have been nice to meet with all of you last night but i had father duties to take care of. i’m glad yall had fun. how’s the old nautica now that it’s got the tent on top of it?
Personally I liked when it was Nautica and you could see the stars shining bright above you.
But nights of rain were a real bummer too.
Such a nice background for a stage too being right on the river.

yeah…sorry to whoever was there…if i seemed distant its cause i was…
Who was faced?
It was me.
Thom was giving the “dude, I’m so faced” sign for me… My fingers wouldnt work.
NICE PICS!!!

I said that to my girl when I saw them in PNC July 1st.
Their is definitely a Reba vibe in there.
i listened to most of the show. i will say het i really enjoyed the wilson. reminded me of the bbfcfm from big birtch, in 94 i think. they sound pretty tight. i read somewhere trey saying NO phish tunes. anywho, great music is being made from these 4 guys.
