And no, I didn’t see that. The inside of the Masquerade is certainly interesting… I assume GRAB is performing in the same adjacent outdoor ampitheatre they did 7/31/93.

I’m asking because I feel as soon as they become “not an opening band”, they are gonna melt some faces.
This is the first night without Phil. He was in Atlanta on 6/25. My impression is that it’s BR Duo I/GRAB II. I may be wrong.
No. You are correct. This is their first show without Phil…meaning possibly some phish covers-which would be nice. Though ity appears we might be in for some t-showers around 8 tonight. its a little stormy right now though so maybe it came early (fingers crossed)

I say they’re only gonna play 1 set. That seems to be there thing now, playing one set and playing the same songs every night, single handedly defeating the reason we like this band to begin with. Nonetheless I’ll be in Nashville tomorrow night, hopefully theyll play better than the Raleigh show, and maybe bust out some good covers. At least I’m in for a good light show.
Wow. The show absolutely sucked tonight. What a fucking mess. I don’t even know where to start. The Trey on stage tonight was not the same Trey that was at the Tabernacle a few months back… I’m at a loss.
On a side note, The Masquerade was the worst venue I’ve seen a show at in the last 10 years. The sound was turned way down, and I was next to the board on Trey’s side. I left as they desperately tried to breathe life into “Who Are You?”… My question exactly Trey…who are you indeed?
