OK, I’ve been exchanging E-mails with Ellis Godard, and the Oh Kee Pa is going to have a nice link on Phish.net

What we are going to need is a banner to represent us. I tried this in the moderator section, and it has come to a stall. So I am reaching out to the entire OKP, which I probably should have done to begin with.

Anyways… If anyone can come up with a nice looking banner, measuring about 180X34, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I wish I had more skills at this, but I have none.

So… have at it OKP!

Just to get things started off…

I think the logo’s should be a flat color, they get a little lost when they’re downsized like that…

What do you guys think?

^^^Buster, maybe try a darker (solid?) background against one or both of those.

The fish logo is fading away on those…

The logo’s are still getting lost in there… 180px x 34px is really small…

Maybe no logo at all? Just Oh Kee Pa?

That’s pretty good. I like the “OKP” logo rather than “Phish.”

I’m against having “Feel the Breeze” on there.

It’s kind of an inside joke that would sound cheesy to anyone outside the loop.

Why not just have the logo and then, in big letters, “The Oh Kee Pah Phish Message Board,” or something.

^ I agree. The Breeze reference is just an inside joke that should not be on the banner.
I like the background with the solid black OKP logo. Put www.ohkeepa.com on there, and we’re good.
It’s really cool to get a banner on phish.net.

^I was thinking of leaving the web address on there because it’s a link, it doesn’t really need the web address on there.

Is there anything else you guys can think of that should be on there?

Just keep it basic?

If it will be going against a blue-ish background, I like the third design bestest.

I think we have a winner.

If I was going to vote, it would be for this one.

Maybe we should start a poll in a day or so.

But I really like how the colors work on this one.

Everything “pops”.

^Yeah, I think that yellow and orange bring the black letters out nicely.

Is everyone happy with the results we have?

If not, say something NOW, and come up (make) a better banner.

If there are no replies saying they want something else, I am going to assume everyone is happy, and will start a poll with the fine choices Buster has made.
