Capt. Late to the Game is walking in!

Hi everyone,
to the OP, well said with the timline. I felt it all as well.
I was blessed with lotto and ticket bastard tickets for the 4 of us.
Waiting in that line on the 6th was pure fucking torture. To see the mothership standing there, and not being able to get in it right away was…well…frustrating to say the least. but the vibe was good, people were still happy, and I knew I’d get it.
Just before getting in the door, I saw some guy get his ticket scanned and the lady at the door shook her head No. The cop behind her, kindly escorted the guy out of the stadium. The look on his face is one I will never forget. i felt so bad for him, and my heart stills goes out to that guy.
But then i was standing in ront of that same lady…and my heart skipped a tiny little beat when she scanned my ticket…green light means go!
I kissed her right on the cheeck and told her I loved her! She gave me a very nice smile.
To the seats we went and waited.
It was pretty weird cause i called the lights going down about 7 seconds before they did. We all just kinda looked at each other in wonder about how that happned.
The crowd goes wild.
The band hits the stage.
The crowd goes more wild.
Instruments are picked up.
The crowd is goign nuts.
The first notes fo Fluffhead.
The crowd go bat-fucking-crazy
Tears of Joy!
it was a wonderful night, one that i will never forget.
We stop at Polo Loco on our way back. These people were not prepared for us. i think the under cooked my chicken sandwhich becuase I was hitting the shitter every 30 min from about 530 am on.
To save you all of the gory details, I will leave it at by mid afternoon it was red instead of brown.
This put a damper on my Night 2, but not nearly enough to keep me from enjoying myself. I had a great night, even hitting the bathroom every so often. I can’t hear PYITE without picturing myself in a stall cursing those Polo Loco people. Halley’s was the one moment where i realyl didn;t feel bad at all. I am a huge fan of that song, and danced like i was at 100%…I wish it was a little longer, only becuase I was able to block everything else out.
Night 3, back to 85%…enough to not have to hit the can, and really enjoy the final show of the run.
Loved it…and wish i had the time machine to do it all over again. I wouldn’t change a thing (except maybe the chicken part).
I also wish the police force were a little more friendly after night 3. I really felt like they wanted us to pack up and go right from the venue. But whateve…
Thank you boys for a wonderful wonderful weekend!
