JUST GOT BACK INTO TOWN. LOTS OF CATCHING UP TO DO WITH MASS AMOUNTS OF E-MAIL, MY RECORD LABEL (I’M NEGOTIATING FOR SINGLES AND REMIXES!), AND LIFE AT HOME. 9 days away from the house…damn.

Texas was GREAT! Mexico was freakin’ awesome! Yucatan sunshine! Too much tequila, too many records played, too many miles on the ole odometer. I bought tons of new vinyl in Texas, too. Got cases of wine and beer for Christmas (my family knows me well). Baked the dank with old friends. Caught up with folks I haven’t seen in 4 years. I need to visit Dallas/Fort Worth more often. I’m booking some DJ gigs down there sooooon!

Anyhow, good to be back. Hope you all had a good holidays!

I have some things that some big DJ’s are gonna play at WORLD MUSIC CONFERENCE in Miami this March. That’s a pretty big dealmaker. This music thing is happening so fast these days, I can’t hardly keeeep up with it. I’ll let you guys know when release dates come up…

Nice work Vern…you know my feelings on electronic music, however, I’m always going to be ecstatic to hear about a fellow ohkeepa’er making it! Especially doing something as nobel as making music. Kudos. Congratulations.

I will have to insist that you include the OKP in your “thanks to” section when the album comes out. I’ll make sure I buy an extra copy for Goldenroad!
