I am really going to miss this thread.
It really gets my day going and is actually the first place I go to in the morning to get some tunes for the day.
I think it’s time to move on to the “Versus” Series…

We’re turning Japanese!

Yes!
I was hoping something from this show would be selected.
From one of the band’s most legendary shows comes one of the most legendary versions of YEM.

Welp, today is exactly one year.
One problem, though…
No show occurred on this date.
That deserves a frowny face emoticon.
June 13th was a great day for the band, so whadda ya say we close out this whole muthagrabba tomorrow with some SER heat?!
OK. It’s on.
Thanks again to all those that rode out the year with me and to all of those that grabbed links to make their day go by.
Hopefully you got the chance to hear some new stuff!
a
Wow, 6/12 with no shows. That is surprising.
I definitely heard some stuff that I had never heard before. And was blown away by damn near all of it! Thanks!
Anonymous Downloader - “What was your favorite part of this thread?”
My favorite part of this last year was the NYE mixes.
I wanted to go big for NYE but one idea led to another and the mixes became my big project some time in mid November.
Anyhow…since there was no show played on June 12th, we’ll close it out in style today.
There were four shows played on this date and all were KILLER!
How about a sampling from each?
First off is this ultra laid back Mike’s from Japan.
I don’t know why, but this Mike’s always gets me up to get down.
Really focused and fun, this one tends to get overlooked.
The intro to Weekapaug is equally as fun.
Mike’s > Simple > Weekapaug

Secondly, we have another overlooked funk fest from across the pond.
This Wolfman’s is crammed with that delish Euro '97 funk and finds it’s way into the first ever Velvet Sea.
This Velvet Sea might be my favorite version.
Such a thoughtful and chilling solo.
Don’t skimp on this one!

This version of Reba is highly underrated.
It gets lost in the mix of other great versions from this Tour and other greats played throughout the band’s career.
It’s not to be missed!

Thanks again A!
I also enjoyed the NYE mixes, although, mine got deleted off my work computer. My birthday is New Years Day, so those shows were always extra special.
Any chance you still have the Auld Lang Syne mix out there anywhere??
Please pm me if you do.
Thanks again!
yeah 6.13.95 is dope. Just put that on my Ipod last night actually.
Holy Hell! I just realized its Phriday the 13th!!!>>!

For real, your the best a.
Thanks for making my days go by faster.
You get the rock and roll emoticon.
