1993?
Melt?
I heard those are pretty good.
okay, not to hijack this thread, and I don’t know how to use sendspace, and I just thought perhaps some people would like to listen to this, and that’s all.

If that’s the FM source, that is one of the all-time WORST circulating tapes.
The Jim has about 6 minutes cut and there is static and pops all over it.
Good show, though.
The Schoeps is the one you want for that night.

^what he said
I don’t think it is…I’m listening to it and it sounds all right. I didn’t hear anything missing from the “Jim,” (which I thought was a pretty good version).
Of course, I don’t know shit about sources and taping and all that, so I could be completely out of my element.
I hope you can tell the difference between a SBD and AUD.
a
Yes, I can.
This definitely does not sound like an AUD recording.

08. Character ZeroIssue: The beginning of Runaway Jim is cut.
*After Page finishes a lengthy and beautiful piano solo,
Trey begins his part of the “muel duel” by playing a nice classical riff
(20 seconds or so). He then pauses and plays a few heavy metal licks
that then go into “Ha Ha Ha” (the band follows).
**After “Ha Ha Ha,” Trey does a bit more of his guitar solo,
which is followed by the “Russian” dance segment.Comments - Add comment

02/10/2002 Blane this sounds like it may be another ALD patch. There is static in Wolfman’s which suggests it’s not a pure SBD.
Not bad, but not fantastic IMO.
05/31/2002 Paul Hofferkamp 1st track (Moma Dance) is from an unknown AUD source.
01/12/2003 guyforget how bout some md5s here? unofficial just for comparison? theres several issues with mine, lots of static and diginoise throughout, could be bad DAE… need a reference. someone could email me maybe?

04/08/2003 allen yep, we match. i guess that the seed just sounds like crap. at least, it does imo. if someone requested this fileset from me in a trade i would advise them to pick another fileset from me and to track down a different source of this seed. 2 thumbs down, especially for a sbd.
12/31/2003 Matt Vernon The “sbd” portion of this show is mono. My md5’s match that posted above, they have the aud for d1t1.

I love that entire show…what’s the consensus on that in terms of 1999 as a whole? Top-10? Top-5? I know there are some other solid shows from the summer and fall tours. Big Cypress notwithstanding, of course.
Top 5 for summer IMO. Along with 7-4, 7-13, 7-15 and 7-17
Def top 10 for the year!

Just to be an asshole, I am not a fan of that Buried Alive.
It is definitely a different beast, just a little too trippy for me I suppose.
Great show though!
Thanks for the double upload.
